[Uzumaki Naruto]

Kakashi's Pride

I don't own Naruto


I saw my students leave me and then I knew I was weak.
One had left for evil and now I have failed him
The other left for good, but I ignored him.
I wanted to make up for the past, but I have failed.
Is this all I could give
Was my destiny to fail and lose the ones I love?
All three were taken from me, and I am once again alone.
My heart hurts and I still have to fight
Because I am a ninja of this village
I will not die! I have to keep on this fight

But then again I have failed
I have lost one of my students who I tried to work so hard on
Then I ignored the other
One had more attention then the other
If they ever did feel truly weak,
That would be a lie
For I was the weak one
I was the one who failed them
I could not save one
I ignored the other
The third is now gone
There is no other
The ones I truly loved are gone
Now I must train myself

I will protect them in the future
That will be my ninja way

I now know that I was still young
My students helped me grow
Especially that one I seemed to ignore.
He helped me grow
He helped me understand
He helps with out knowing
He helps a shinobi become a shinobi
I will not let him down
I will watch him grow
I will see him become Hokage
Because that is what he will become.

To him I salute
To him I acknowledge
Become a great ninja
Naruto, you made me understand the pride a father has for a son.
You are the greatest ninja of them all
Even greater then the one who was known as the 4th
That teacher was a great man, but you are greater
Make me proud
I know you will
Because I know one thing only a few know
You are Uzumaki Naruto
And you will become the hokage of this village.

I will watch you grow,
I will acknowledge you
With this sword in my hand
I will protect you
I will not let you die
I will not ignore you anymore
I want to watch you grow
For you made me proud

Naruto, I salute you
You are a proud shinobi
You are the pride of this village
You will become great
You are a true shinobi
Take Sakura with you too
I see it in your eyes
You love her with all your heart
Make her happy too.
I don?t need to ask
Because I already know,
You will always be with her
You will always make her smile

You are a true man
It was an honor to be your sensei
I will some day say
I was that sensei of that great shinobi
I know you will make
I know you will not die
You have a dream to accomplish
I will not let you die
My life is yours
My student, my son, my Hokage
You and Sakura have made me proud
Love each other until the day you die.

I will never regret the days I have spent with you
I will never forgot about you two
I love you both dearly
I see the love for each other in your eyes.
You two are my most precise people in this world
And I am sorry I was not strong enough.
You two will be above me, but I don?t care
You two made me so happy
I love you both
You made me proud
