As you can see the forum is back online again. It's been down for months at this point.
First of all I want to say thank you to whomever brought it back. Even if let's be honest here, this place has been quite dead for some time.
This is something that was to be expected since Naruto ended years ago, we've talked about loads of things, we also have our own lives. So this place is not as alive as it once was.
Secondly I've seen that the domain expired and a few days ago it was up for auction.
Honestly I wanted to buy it when I saw that, but the thing is, I wasn't sure what will happen and I didn't want to screw things up.
As far as my knowledge about websites goes is that the domain and the database are separate things.
So getting just the domain wouldn't bring the forum up. If anyone knows how that works or has the correct information, please tell me.
Now because I thought this place would go on forever or at least a very long time, I don't have any connections with the members outside this forum. I mean other forms of contacting the people here.
I've established some only after the forum went down and it was quite a pain since what I was doing was searching on google for the names of the usernames that you guys had. And that was based on my memory.
Now I'm sure some of you noticed for over a year that the website has had some loading problems.
Either it loads really slowly or not at all. It needs quite a few reloads until it works.
I saw that as a sign of the website dying. And what I wanted to do is create a thread here for people to share their methods of contacting outside of the forum. If they want to of course.
Now because I'm an idiot and like I've said above I thought this place will go on forever, I've decided to do it tomorrow, and when tomorrow came I said to myself I will do it tomorrow and when tomorrow came I said I'll do it tomorrow.... and then the forum went completely down and it was over.
In order to not screw it up again. I will do it now.
Here's how I'm thinking this can work.
I'm thinking of opening up a new private message and inviting anyone who wants join.
In this private message people can share their method of contact.
Discord account, e-mail, phone/whatsapp number, facebook, instagram, other messaging programs, etc.
Now the reason I say private message is because I assume not everyone wants their accounts to be public to anyone who can access the forum (remember anyone can read the forum no account needed). Plus you have to understand that if you join, your information will be available to someone you may not want to have contact with. I don't know what you want.
So tell me what you think? Obviously I'll probably get no replies or one reply since people saw that the forum has been dead for months and most likely said to themselves that will stay dead for good this time.
And of course you are free to join or not join. No one is obligating anyone to share their accounts if they don't want to.
