Cause I don't want to?
I don't like going to movie theaters to watch movies and have only done so twice in the last ten years. Virtually the only movies I buy on video are the ones my wife and son want. The Lego Movie has been the only exception.

Probably, my son's love the orignals, as do my hubby and I. They saw the previews for this new one and they got so excited, they want to watch it,so yeah I'm game.

I'm not really a fan of the original, more like a casual viewer. And still have zero interest in this movie. It's clearly a cash grab trying to leech on the glory days of the original. Considering the overwhelming dislike this movie is getting, I suspect it will only do well if a lot of people go watch it wondering how bad it is.
The forced jokes and lame acting does not appeal to me at all.
