I noticed all the people that critic and hate hey arnold calls it a boring and a overrated show.

Heck even nostalgic critic made a video claiming that hey arnold wasn't that interesting or fun as a show. Like arnold is a bland nice guy, other characters just being there and helga getting over emphasized.

In your opinion do you agree or disagree?

Nostalgia Critic only glance the first season, which is when the show was still young and didn't have a special perk that we like with the later seasons. It's like The Simpsons. First season is well, yeah...After that one, it became classic. Hey Arnold later seasons were more identifiable and thus, memorable. There were some good moments in season 1, but 2 and up sky rocket to its popularity. Sadly, they pulled that movie stunt and put it on the big screen. The one that could have been just an episode series.

It's funny because all Nick movies were legit canon. Well, most of them, but I remember thinking that I have to see them to continue the show. I actually thought that also applies to Anime. Even Transformers (cartoon) movie was canon. But that Hey Arnold movie was all hype but under delivered. Like I like it but as an episode not as a movie. If that make sense. Anyway, I haven't seen a review that negative. I have to explore more I guess. But again with NC, he didn't really grow with it, so he only took a glance, and doing that, well it wouldn't give a good impression.

Now, it's a matter of test of time. I just learned that Powerpuff Girls 2016 has a comedy that stem from Adventure Times. That is telling about how time wants to keep up. Anyway, all I know is I did in fact saw plenty of them and it holds up. Time to see if the movie will have them demand more.

People need to stop using the Nostalgia Critic as an "end all be all" to opinions on movies and TV shows on the internet. The guy has some good points but like everyone, he has his own biases and opinions. Not to mention he has been on a noticeable down trend for years.

As for the criticisms, I haven't seen all too many, but I figure they are similar to what's been brought up in the posts above. People may have looked at the first season and didn't connect as well as maybe they would if they watched the later seasons where the series hit its creative sweet spot.

At any rate, I actually think Hey Arnold is a show that a person can easily overlook on first glance. To be honest, a lot of my enjoyment from the series came on second viewing, and I think one needs to look at it from a different perspective than some of the more zany toons out there. In a way, Hey Arnold is very much a cartoon with a unique art style but is told through the slice of life genre.

i haven't seen much criticism for the show, if there was any criticism id assume it would be towards nick while its partly true the first movie doing bad caused tjm to be canned  nick also wanted craig to work for them only so craig left nick untill now still greenlighting tjm after all this time is really a stunt to cash in good ratings cuz they know their network has been doing bad for yrs the only shows still around are fop and spongebob which are nothing more then walking corpses
