Set in a fictional imperial dynasty, the story centers around the young daughter of a nobleman who loses everything when her father is framed for a crime. She starts crossdressing in order to sell books to make ends meet, and ends up meeting a handsome and mysterious vampire scholar. The mystery also includes an evil vampire residing in the palace who is the master puppeteer in the political arena, and will stop at nothing to prevent the Crown Prince from ascending the throne.

Well, it's the one who popularize sparkling vampire, but not the first one to make it. I think it's vampire knight.I don't know since I didn't watch those yet. Sorry. But it's worth watching this drama.

MBC drama. It's kinda like Vampire Knight but difference is the race origin of the main leads.

I LOVED IT MORE THAN I THOUGHT I WOULD. It was good! I usually don't like vampire stories. That's why I never watched Vampire Knight, but I'll make this an exception. LJK was.. *swoon* I forgot how beautiful he looks. And I can't say anything about the chemistry between him and LYB yet. I'll give it a few more episodes.
AND MY LEE HYUN WOO DIED TOO EARLY. D: I didn't even know he would be in it! The story is not spectacular or anything but I like it so far. And Chang Min did not disappoint with his acting skills! I would go to the TSWWTN soompi thread but I only do that when I'm really into a drama and I'm not THAT into it yet. LOL.
Oh, and remember when I said I've never watched a sageuk drama before? I just remembered that I have; Arang & The Magistrate. But I didn't finish it either. I should when I have the time..
Is this like vampire prosecutor and orange marmalade?
Well, still better love story than twillight.
I've only watched the first two episodes of Orange Marmalade. I dropped it because I didn't feel the chemistry between Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Seol Hyun and the story was.. Meh. Like I said, I'm not into vampire stories. But I think this drama is different from OM. OM focuses more on high school drama/romance while this is.. well, mystery and some romance, probably.

Yeap, we'll have to give it a few more episodes before we can judge their chemistry. LOL.
Did you watch the preview for episode 3? What do you think about KSE's character? Do you think she became a vampire or is she can an incarnation?
HAHAHA. Yeah, they were cute! Oh, gosh. Now I'm imagining her as LYB's character. It's nice seeing a fresh face though.

Have you watched the latest episode? Ohmygosh. Despite its cheesy moments, I am in love with this drama. LOL. I'm still not feeling the chemistry between LJK and LYB, but I do like their relationship. I think it's 'cause she's dressed up as a guy so I'm not really feeling the chemistry? If she dresses as a girl, I'm guessing it would be different.
Okay, I'm into this drama so I'm heading over to the soompi thread. LMAO.
