From what I remember it's confirmed that naruto Anime wil continue in 2015. With some crap filler arc about Hinata/Hanabi!

Never use popularity polls to tell your story.
Not for pairings, not for characters show-time.
Nothing.
You'll ruin your story and fill it with inconsistencies.
