Naruto the last, possibly non canon

Naruto is taller in the movie, currently in the manga he is about 5 1/2 ft, in the movie, he is about as tall as minato at 5 ft 7 in (minato is 5 ft 8 in or 5 and 2/3rds)
So yes naruto is about his fathers height.
Aside from that, the trailer will be out next week for a 15 second teaser, beyond this 2 others are already confirmed for the movie:
Sakura the heroine and minato himself, wait a minute, minato? Why is he here? Is this an alternate universe or did minato really stay around as an edo tensei for 2 years? Well he is in here, not sure if he is alive or dead, if he is alive then something very strange has happened. Otherwise we need to see if this series even is canon or note but rest assured it should be neat.

Minato could just be in a flashback scene or something. If Naruto is hokage in the movie it would make sense for him to think of his father.

I actually agree. I feel like this movie will be non canon for some reason. Idk why. Maybe because every other movie has been, including RTN, the one he wrote? Also, I doubt the manga will end before this movie, so he can't give spoilers.

Naruto is roughly the same height as Minato. There's still a height disparity of 6 centimetres (provided that the number is actually 173cm). If you convert that, Naruto is somewhere around 5'6 (unless you rounded up) which would still make a difference of two inches.
It's not surprising that parent and child would having conflicting heights. I'm fairly certain that the 3rd Databook mentioned that Itachi grew a few centimetres over the timeskip and he was already an adult - ultimately, he became taller than his father and mother.
Surely Minato can't be lurking about after all this time. Orochimaru is an opportunistic snake who may try to take advantage of the people he's resurrected, but when faced with all of the opposition that the Alliance presents, he would be foolish to try and stage a protest against instructions to end the jutsu.

Unlikely they would have just re-used footage or audio from a previous recording instead of paying the VA to say the exact same lines and waste the money.

Actually, according to the 3rd Databook, Naruto was about 166 cm. Covert it and he was about 5'5". So, adult Naruto is 173cm, basically he's 5'8" (aka Goku's height for Dragon Ball Z).

I was actually 5 ft 6 1/2 in when I left high school but over these 6 years now I am 5 ft 8 1/2 myself.
So narutos height is in reason given the hereditary stuff and the age of 19 for him having grown more.

Meh, good point. Was going to say what if we were shown new flashbacks, but in canon that would be impossible. We've seen all there is possible to see of those.
So, either AU, or some other thing.

With Minato there, if he was there in the present, it would be a deal of how could people be okay with him being there though,
I mean if he was there as an edo tensei then would people be okay that this is an undead guy hanging around, even though he is used from the remains of a mutated human and otherwise if he was actually fully alive, would anyone in the village be okay with that, i mean it would be so, unnatural. Even worse is if minato came back as an edo tensei beyond the current set of the manga and well would anyone be okay with the ethical purposes of it?
This itself, minato being there, aside from the possibility of flashbacks, how could he be around if this was canon? Otherwise it may be an AU entirely unlike RtN where Naruto and Sakura visited one such alternate reality.

Of course this movie will be non canon... like all the other Naruto movie (yes even RTN)
Kishimoto seems to use movies as an outlet of his imagination or its like he is making a fanfiction out of his own work lol. i think its the same with his cover arts.. recently he is fond of drawing team 7 like they are cosplaying lol
Things he wanted to include into the manga but couldn't fit it in anymore for some reason, he puts in the movie.
Like how he was thinking if Naruto's parents were alive.. how will it be? and thus, RTN.
same with the "The Last"

Measurement disparity maybe? I live in the U.S. and we use a different measurement compared to the rest of the world.
Well the official site puts Minato at 5.879 ft despite also saying 179.2 cm and 70.551 in. 1.792 meters
Run it a few times on other sites with measurement converters, you will see some disparity.
This is what I got on googles system:
70.551 in came to 5.897 ft
179.2 cm came to the same deal in feet
1.792 meters converted back came to the same height.
Basically all the stuff from the wiki otherwise all the stuff that came from the databooks
Now I took these same measurements to another non-google measurement site metric conversions.org
70.551 in came to 5 ft 10 in (ignoring the minor fractional stuff)
179.2 came to the same deal as above
1.792 m to feet again, the 5 ft 10 in deal.
so what I would question here then, is this a disparity, like is some math off or I may taller than I think since last I checked I was 5, 8.
Someones math is off or there is a metric disparity here. It may be more or less but all we know is Minato for all purposes is around 5 9.
Geez this is the most mathmatical thing I ever did on this site.
