Personally I want it to wrap up sooner than later.

In all honesty I want Naruto to end soon, if not this year than next year. I don't want the manga to become like One Piece. When the manga reached ch 600 Oda said the manga was half-way done I guess it will end in 500 or 600 chapters more. In Naruto's case I see no reason for Kishimoto to keep dragging his manga on. After Kaguya is defeated the war arc will officially end. Afterwards there should be one more arc which will be the last one Naruto and Sasuke's fight to determine who will be the Hokage.

The war arc was interesting at first. Now im just bored of it and I feel like it really just destroyed the quality of the manga a little..

I would also like one more arc to wrap up the loose ends. And then maybe a spin off, regarding the other nations or something. Because the narutoverse is actually really cool to me.

The NvS hype lost my interest since 09. Now I'm just waiting for it to happen so that kitten can be over and done with finally. If we keep the storyline going than chances are that would just postpone the NvS fight even longer because god forbid we have a chunk of story that doesn't revolve around Sasuke.

Secondly, online petitions hardly work. And you would need way more than 5,000 signatures. If Kishimoto decides to finish his story and/or Sueisha/Pierrot decide the series no longer is profitable, 5,000 signatures would not change their minds. This series is read by MILLIONS of people. 5,000 persons are a drop on an ocean.

 

Thirdly, I do not think that you will find supporters. A lot of people -including me- think the series has dragged on and it should end up already. Other people thinks that the quality has become abyssmal, and they are afraid of it will hit rock-botom if the manga continues. And other people thinks that the manga has become crap, but they still want to know how it ends, so they want it ending so they can get on with their lives. Of course, there is overlapping between the three groups.

 

Personally I belong to the first group and I want that the manga ends.

I love Naruto, but I want it to end. The longer a story goes on for, the less quality it is. I don't want Kishimoto to sell out and just continue writing Naruto to make money. I want him to write what he needs to write for the story and to not be afraid to end it. Besides, the only way we'll see NS become canon is if it ends, soo.... ;)

The United States would have already built the Death Star if they did. That was great. The signature threshold on WH petitions is now 100K because of that one.

I'm one of those who think the quality has dipped. I think needlessly extending it will turn it into a rudderless ship stranded in the middle of ocean with nowhere to go
