Hello everyone!

 

Did anyone notice from latest chapter (671) color page that Sage of the Six Paths has grayish-pink hair?

 

I find it very interesting! But there are some people on NB trying to prove/convince others that his hair is actually red like this pic for example: http://i.imgur.com/K9JdgoD.png

 

And naruto.wikia also convinced that his hair is grayish-red, even though the color is obviously grayish-pink on the color page that has drawn and colored by Kishimoto himself. *face palm*

 

I guess, some people just couldn't bear that SO6P's hair color is very much alike Kizashi Haruno's hair color (If you've seen Road to Ninja movie already), which could lead to theory that SO6P might relate to KIzashi somehow. (I don't think haters could bear such theory xD)

 

And here is my example of SO6P's hair color from Color Hexa.

 

 

What do you guys think? Is it possible that Sakura family is relate to SO6P somehow? Or is it just a coincidence? Please share! =)

Well its rather red, kinda reminiscent for the uzumaki clan, but guess it turned pinker due to him aging?

 

Look I really dont think theres a connection between sakura to the sage, little things like that dont make a difference.

 

A big difference is stuff like:

 

Sakura like Tsunade due to the team 7 to sannin stuff

 

Sakrua like Rin for the similar dynamics but also fates of team 7 and team minato (team 7 being good in the end though, but yeah Sakura and Rin are medics)

 

Sakura like Kushina due to the foreshadow, early  dynamics such as girl intially hated the guy, and 631 (People can argue anyway they want, but the only comparison of kushina to any girl so far is still Sakura, Road to Ninja was just a side treat despite the non-canon factor)

 

Then theres the suspicious theory of Mito having a battle seal like Tsunade and Sakura, if she really taught it to Tsunade who taught it to Sakura, then well, thats just more reason for NS going in line with the Naruto to hashirama stuff, Sakura may be holding some technique that originated in the uzumaki clan (or senju).

 

See those are impactful differences.

My first thought is that it is greying red hair... similar to the Uzamaki clan....

 

But it would be a way for Kishi to tie team 7 together again. I wouldn't put it past him...

It's a good observation, but I don't believe it's anymore than a coincidence. All of the Uzumaki sans Naruto may have red hair, but not all red heads are biologically related (Gaara, Sasori, and Tayuya are prime examples of this until it's stated otherwise). The fact that the Uzumaki were claimed to be distant relatives of the Senju and that Hagoromo has pinkish red hair (it looks like Mountbatten Pink) indicates that the trait was heritable before the clan came to be. 

 

If Hagoromo received his hair pigment from his mother, then what of the brother? Did he have the same colour? Why is it that the Senju, Uchiha, and Hyuga lines all have such a diverging array of pigments amongst their members (this is mostly directed towards the Senju as the other two clans seem to have black or brown hair as a dominant trait) when the Uzumaki were mostly comprised of redheads? There's never even been an official colouration of Ashura and Indra. How likely is it that their hair won't match up with their father's?

I couldn't agree more!

 

I don't really believe that Sakura has any connection with SO6P just because little thing like this anyway. I'm just so excited to see another character has hair color similar to our heroine. xD

 

About aging hair color, I remember that Mito Uzumaki has brownish-red hair color when she was very old (before she passed away). So, I think if SO6P hair was actually red, his current aging hair color should be similar to Mito's. That's why I think  SO6P hair might be pink when he was young. But I could be wrong. And yes, similar hair color could mean nothing. =)

 

BTW, I don't mind if in the end Sakura family is related to SO6P or anyone with special bloodline. Like SO6P said "No matter how excellent the parents are...the child doesn't necessarily inherit their whole potential." And Sakura's proven that even though she has no special bloodline she could become very strong and confident, too. That's why I love her character very much. =)

Read the chapter before it. If you noticed his hair isn't darkened when he was fighting the Juubi or standing with his two sons., so the dark hair is hereditary of the mother, not the father.

 

Also, if you notice the way Kishi draws his manga, it took a while for us to realize that Nagato had red hair, because it was inked black.

 

In Hagoromo's case, it was very light colored hair. So yes...his hair is pink.

This furthers my assumption that Shinachiku will have pink hair, possibly to resemble the rikudou sage.

That is a good point. My only counter point would be that Gaara's hair was almost never inked in and his hair is red...

That would be cool! It would be another way to make the story come full circle. It could also simbolize Hagoromo's vision of Ninshuu coming true. Shinachiku would be the first generation to grow up using ninshuu again instead of using ninjutsu.

It's possible. To be Honest I can admit it, not just because I want to be open minded about it but because Kishi might as well deconstruct the fact that Sakura is supposed to be portrayed as a normal girl at this point. LOL I mean Naruto and Sasuke were originally intended to be just gifted young boys who would have to work their way into greatness (in fact Naruto was not supposed to have lineage freebies besides being hinted to be Minato's son), and look what it escalated into.
