I have no idea if this has been a thread before, and if so I apologize.

I was wondering, from Chapter 3 to all the way it is now. What moments are your favorite between Naruto & Sakura?

Another question I have is.. What specific moments got you to become a NaruSaku fan? Was it the promise? Or when Naru went 4 tails and Sakura worrying? Or was it small moments that got you?

Me personally was the promise because I find him wanting her to be happy instead of him is really deep. It shows exactly how much he truly loves her. Being a guy, I'm not that much into romantic moments.. haha, but this got to me, along with a lot of other things!

On a side note, I was wondering if any of you know any good narusaku tumblrs. I know a few, but just wanted to ask for the heck of it. lol. Thanks!

Well the problem is, there are a lot and I mean a lot of moments, but if anything, to me the most meaningful are those that have sakura being the one giving back to naruto, essentially its just showing her development. I mean for all purposes we know naruto loves sakura, the deal on his end though for us to see was throughout the story why he loves her like in the promise of a lifetime and 457.

But for the most meaningful, I would say it would be obviously the hug in 450, that was a moment where she had never been open with him like that. Another one was 631 in when Naruto thanks her for healing him and says you should rest now, Sakura advocates to him how she can fight and that she was trained by a sannin like him. Its then just how naruto knows the look in her eyes and smiles knowing he can trust her. It is short but the recent 663 with Sakura remembering Naruto's dream and now her vowing to save him and not let him die, thats another. Literally this recent scene is a completely different situation than one could have ever imagined years ago, sakura vowing to save naruto no matter the cost, its hard to believe she actually used to hate naruto.

But these are only a few, I mean there are many many many NS moments in the manga alone like Sakura learning what happens to a jinchurki after extraction or Naruto learning he struck Sakura in the 4 tailed state, even Naruto saving Sakura from Sasuke.

One thing NS has over the other pairings aside from development, a reason we love it, its that no matter what happened, Naruto and Sakura have only gotten better with each other, never negative, maybe a little shaken at first around the land of iron but still they are inseparable even as friends. They have gone through highs and lows together, been hurt and been the victim of each other indirectly and still they move forward.Sakura never thought any differently about naruto after learning his fate as the nine tails or even when he struck her in his 4 tailed state. Naruto would never hold it against her for the land of iron events either. Hell this just makes hoping for a revival scene even more meaningful.

If there's one moment that got me to become NS fan, it is the Promise of a Lifetime. It was beautifully depicted and I'll be honest with you I was actually crying when I read that chapter --some woman I am...

That scene really made me empathize with Naruto. How he will do anything to make Sakura happy, even though it may cause him a great pain. The interesting bits was Sakura's thought process. When Naruto told her that promise, her mind went back to the bench scene, enclosed with a realization that Naruto truly care for her.

These moments at the Heaven and Earth bridge still stand out for me, because they were what really made me take notice of NaruSaku as a pairing. Before, pairings were kind of an no-big-deal to me; I didn't really care one way or another, but it was this that made me believe Naruto and Sakura's relationship was important, story wise.

One of my favs will have to be their argument they had during the kage summit arc. Some people may look at it negatively, but I see it in a different way. The fact that Sakura was genuinely pissed off that Naruto assumed she was lying to herself really struck me because if she was lying to herself there wouldn't be any need to get

so mad.

Sakura's selfless moments are my favourites. They are really underestimated and ignored by the Naruto fandom in general. Possibly because unlike Naruto, her character is not portrayed as selfless. At most, she is portrayed as understandable(like in the summit arc), but not really selfless. I feel like since we are told so many times that Naruto is such a good person, and his actions are always right, I am not allowed to disagree with them. It closes every other interpretation, and we as readers have to swallow everything. I like the freedom I have with Sakura, I think she is selfless and I own that opinion.

It's totally fine if you cry when reading this. Hah.. I'll admit  *cough* I've shed some manly tears myself... *cough*

But I felt the same about that moment!

You're exactly right. Throughout the story, you can see she has a good heart, like Naruto. It's one of the reasons I really like Sakura as a character in this story, tbh. Even though a lot of people may hate on her, she deserves so much more credit. Especially recently in the manga.

I really like all these different moments you guys are posting! And I'm totally going to like all these posts once I can. lol.

yeah, i really hate it when people say sakura's selfless moments are only to be expected, only because that is her duty as a teammate, as a medic nin, and somehow that erase her merits when she does her best to fight, help or save people.

Never mind why she chose to become a medic nin in the first place..

No one forced her. She took the intiative and asked Tsunade personally, so she could dedicate her life to save others.

It's the exact same for me. This is where I first noticed her feelings changing...  We'll, maybe not changing. But its the first time I noticed how much she cares about Naruto!

Such a sweet moment that we get to see. Its were we notice how she feels before even she does.

Probably chapter 298 or 631

I hope Kishi hasn't for whatever reason forgotten about what happened in chapter 298, you'd think an NS moment that large would be brought back up or referenced again at some point all this time.

Hmm...for me, it was when Naruto, Sakura, and Jarya went to Orochimaru's lair to retrieve Sasuke. I know now that episode was filler, but seven years ago, I didn't know what filler was, or who was even writing Naruto in the first place. Episodes were just episodes to me.

Its not at the top of my list but the aftermath of the 4 tails scene was one that many NS fans enjoy regardless of the bridge they were at being called the heaven and earth bridge. Anyways yeah most non-ns fans label this scene as unimportant and so on and try to inject realism into this scene because yamato hadn't known naruto or sakura that long. Its a scene many say doesn't matter but still many make a dispute about it.

Some have said that yamato's sentience ended with "in truth you lack confidence in your ability." When any sane fan would know right there Yamato was about to say you really love him. Really some people try to inject realism aspects into a story when the bigger deal is you cannot inject realism or realistic reactions in a story otherwise it just cuts right away, this series would have been done by now, in fact, the story would have been just that, Obito acting more rationally after Rin's death rather than go right to following madaras activity. Thats how it would have been. Really the scene was one that kinda gave the framework for NS in part 2 with yamatos words about how strongly she felt about him and well, its funny because at this point in the story, she does care about him a lot. Not going to be surprised if Yamato's words rear themselves again.

Can someone complete Shikamaru's statement for me? "Sakura, he's trying to-"? Can someone please complete it for me? Also can I get the links for the mangas where Tsunade, Jiraiya and Kakashi notice that Sakura indeed loves Naruto? You know the the links to the mangas that show that they can see that Sakura loves Naruto just like Yamato saw and NOT the mangas wherein they can see how much Naruto loves Sakura. Please someone provide me with the links to those mangas.

@Hanabi Thank you for completing the sentence :). Actually I am not pinpointing a certain evidence but I want an evidence. We have canon evidences of Jiraiya, Tsunade and Kakashi knowing and acknowledging Naruto's love for Sakura but not of them seeing Sakura showing feelings for Naruto. If I am not wrong that has only been said by Yamato. Well, Tsunade gives '....' and a warm smile and softned eyes when Sakura shows feelings for Naruto. But I read somewhere on the internet that Jiraiya and Tsunade have both said and acknowledged that Sakura goes out of the way to do things for Naruto and their relationship goes beyond close friendship and that they are beyond best friends and even Kakashi knows that deep down Sakura loves Naruto and not Sasuke. I just wanted canon evidences to these things or are they just deduced facts?

Just to piggy-back off of this...

I think the fact that Yamato has only known them for a short amount of time is actually a plus. It's like fresh eyes seeing the situation and its just so obvious to him. Just like its so obvious to all of us.

And I also agree with you. it doesn't matter what side it is, anytime there is positive evidence for a pairing there are are always people there to rebuke it.

There are so many amazing NaruSaku moments, but my top favorite will always be the in the Tenchi Bridge one. How Sakura remembered his promise and was so affected by seeing him go so far to save Sasuke really showed how close she was getting to eventually choosing Naruto over Sasuke. It was more subconscious, but Sakura didn't want to lose Naruto all for Sasuke. She even said she would bring Sasuke back for Naruto and that he didn't need to do anything. Sakura shows so much feelings and concern for Naruto, it was one of the most unexpected yet heart-breaking scenes in the manga.

I also loved when Sakura was healing Naruto afterwards and admitted that she wanted to do all she could for Naruto, but she felt like she could never do enough. What affected me more wasn't the Unfinished sentence (though that was great too), but how Sakura actually asked Yamato to learn how to control the Kyuubi for Naruto. I feel like it's over-looked, but there is so much significance in that. She's basically prepared to bear the burden of the Nine-tailed Fox and bring him back every time it overcame him, even if she could get hurt in the process. That's one of the most selfless things Sakura has ever tried to do for Naruto and it showed her true feelings for him completely. I only wish Naruto was there to listen to that; maybe he wouldn't have as much trouble believing she loves him.

A close second to these would be 662--663. Seeing Sakura go from panic mode to determined mode and do whatever she could to keep Naruto alive while thinking of his dream as the Hokage the entire time was extremely meaningful. I feel like that was better than her breaking into tears and giving up like younger Sakura might've done in that situation. It's another one of those moments that just really makes you wonder if she loves Naruto.
