Either Katsuyu failed in healing the other Kage or she is acting against Tsunade's instructions by reconnecting her two halves. It's odd that she is somehow still there. Wasn't Katsuyu summoned to where Sakura was? Either Katusuyu somehow was able to divide itself so that a part of her was conjured whilst the original could remain behind or there is actually more than one slug by the name of Katsuyu in existence.

 

Sakura's smile is a facade created to mask her suspicious sentiments towards Sasuke. Well that shouldn't be too surprising for anyone considering that these past few chapters have only been a momentary reprieve from Team 7's internal conflict. The other rookies are likely as equally suspicious as she is whilst concealing it behind a veil of satisfaction that Team 7's original dynamics have returned.

 

I believe we just found one of the core ideological differences between Naruto and Sasuke. It's very conflicting to what some of our impressions were that Sasuke would endeavour to tame the beast and become its jinchuuriki. In reality, he wants to eliminate all of the bijuu because he perceives them as a threat to his intentions. This just reestablished Sasuke's desire to kill Naruto and possibly everyone on the battlefield if they are going defend him. We all know that he will not hesitate to strike at anyone who hinders the pursuit of his ambitions. If that necessitates the deaths of every single solider on that battlefield then so be it.

Exactly my point.

I think Tsunade won't die because she has to see Naruto become Hokage, it's her life bet and it was always mentioned that her life bets are different.

And Sakura's matureness has to do with getting over Sasuke, imo. Not Tsunade dying. And with her latest appearances in regards to Sasuke...well, this is gonna be hella good!

So much for Orochimaru blackmailing Tsunade. Well there is the possibility of Tsunade commenting on Sakura's growth after they act together to heal everyone. As interesting as all of this is though the idea of Slug Sage Mode continues to act as a plague. It would be wonderful if Kishi could address it and Shikkotsurin in the near future.

Hmm... Interesting. Sounds like Sakura's hiding her true thoughts/feelings again. She probably doesn't want Sai to worry or something. This sounds like she'll have a nice focus this chapter, and in any chapters dealing with Sasuke and his true goals. I'm glad they're talking again, though. I love Sai.

 

So, Tsunade is back in one piece? I wonder if she already started healing the other Kage... How is Katsuyu still there tho. Guess she split herself in half?

 

What Sasuke said about Bijuu actually makes sense. I mean, I would expect that from him. I hope Naruto finally realises that Sasuke can't be trusted. And Kurama obviously won't be too happy about what Sasuke said. Kick Sasuke's ass, Kurama!

 

And YEEEESSSSSS the Kage are heading toward the battlefield!

 

Does that include Tsunade? I can't wait to see what Tsunade's reaction to Sakura activating the Byakugou seal is! I hope they fight together! And Gaaraa~<3

I won't say that she is unhappy with Sasuke's return, but she certainly is trying to hide her suspicion.

Sai wants to know about the Sasuke's true meanings (intention) and so he asks Sakura. Sai has seen through Sakura's fake smile (implication that Sai knows Sakura is thinking of something).

 

What I'm really interested about is the last part with Sasuke and his thought pattern. It's certainly a set up for the next arc!
