maybe this is sound bias but i think this is hinata developement, this is hinata resolution remember holding hand everyone this is it.
now will hinata get reply from naruto that he love her to or will she turn down by him.

Was there really a chapter outside the shipping stuff?

Isn't Naruto just getting the same message over and over?

I know it's going to get worse before it gets better...but I have to say this stings.

Hinata's whole speech/touch/hand-holding, and with Sakura watching...yeah, I would say NH now definitely has something to bolster their ship.

I know some people aren't going to like this chapter but I loved it. This is what Hinata has been building up to, she is the character that represents how Naruto can inspire people and for her to turn around and inspire him feels like the perfect resolution to her character arc. Finally now she realizes that it's not all about Naruto, she may actually be a character I can tolerate.
Does this mean NH is considered canon? No. It just means Hinata can now stand on her own two feet, that she has accomplished what she wanted to.

Poor Tenten her teammate just died and she didn't even get a reaction shot, is she really that unimportant?

Also was it just me or did Sakura have the same sort of look of sadness at Naruto and Hinata as Hinata had at the hug at the end of the Pain arc

Naruhina is CANON guys. All those years of development for NOTHING WOW I'm actually surprised by reaction I didn't get as pissed as I thought I would be. Well looks like my time on this site is over it only took three days. Only registered 3-4 days ago.

We just have to wait and see. This chapter was definitely Hinata's character advancing, I don't think it's set in stone though that the Naru Hina relationship is solid.

I still think Sakura will have her moment to shine and I still think that we have a lot more relationship things to go through especially when Team 7 meets again. I think a Team 7 reunion will have a much bigger impact on who ends up with who then even these couple chapters.

Well, it would be completely unexpected if Hinata will regress as a side character again after this. Unfortunately, Neji was sacrificed.

Well, I'm also worried that Naruhina will happen, especially after what has happen in this arc. Though I'm not saying any pairing is canon, I almost wish I didn't care. Now I'm starting to care more about the actual pairing than the series itself.

I haven't been reading the manga lately, but some fans already calling Naruhina canon, especially after this chapter. While it is probably not true at the moment, I know something big must have happen to make people on here to say it.

Sorry, but I don't see how this makes them canon. So Hinata was able to snap him out of it for once and acted strong. Good, she's getting development. Sakura has done the same with Naruto multiple times over and yet this one time with Hinata takes the cake and makes them canon? They had some moments, but last time I checked Naruto has never thought of Hinata romantically. He loves Sakura and has from the beginning.

In my opinion, characters are going to get their moments based on the order they talked in chapter 573 (if that is the right number). Hinata was the first character of the rookies to think of Naruto and lookie here, she is getting some time to shine. Sadly, this also means that since Sakura spoke last, we will have a long time to wait for her moment. But hers will be last and far more important than Hinata's.

The manga isn't over and no pairing is declared canon yet.

Hinata's development is almost complete, just needs to actually confess to Naruto and hear the answer. That decides whether its canon or not. On the other hand, Team 7 development still has a ways to go.
