[Saku-chan]

I recently picked up the manga Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and I could not stop reading it until I caught up.

I fell in love with the fantasy and workings of the series' world as well as the inspiration from various historical fantasies (including 1001 Arabian Nights). I think that it has a surprising amount of depth for a shounen series and the humor is refreshing.

I'm also excited to see how the anime does as there are 12 episodes out already. (I got on the bandwagon at just the right time.)

Anyway, I really recommend it to anyone who hasn't read/watched and people who have can discuss it here!

The beginning is a little slower in the manga and there are stories that they left out for the anime in order to speed up the meeting between Aladdin, Alibaba, and Morgianna. Other than that, it's been really close. (I'm on episode 5 right now.)

I just finished the second season of the anime the other day. I was a little bored at the beginning of Kingdom, bit after a bit it picked up and I thought it was pretty good. I'm considering reading the manga for the rest of the story, but I really need to finish something before I start on another.

Guys. Magi was my go to after Naruto's ending. It's probably the best decision I made after that horrid tragedy. But Magi is literally my favorite shounen as of now. 

 

So, I'll ask you this. Who's your favorite character? Mine? 

 

 

 

A feel like she's a better written version of Sakura. Of course, I shouldn't compare the two, but the similarities are definitely there. The both had silly first crushes, but Kougyoku was able to get over her's, while Sakura fell deeper into her own childish feelings.  

 

But also, both girls are very relatable. Even though Kougyoku is a princess, she's really just your average person. And she's also really...lonely. And also, Sakura never felt like she amounted to anything, which Kougyoku has felt before too. But compared to Sakura, Kougyoku is way better handled inside of the story.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I've been following this series a year ago. And I have to say I'm hooked. Although, I feel like the Alma Torran Arc was the longest arc in the manga. (・∀・)

It is a story where most of the caharacters came from the story 1001 nights where magic and the use djinn are emphasize in the series along with the magi who chooses the one who is fitting to become a king by conquering a dungeon which wilk give them a power of a King vessel

Of course. I would definitely recommend it.
The pacing of the story is nice. No rush, no slow pacing. Everything is explained thoroughly.
