All right, then, where to begin? Hello everyone. Since a few weeks back, where most people that don't have blogs, did create blogs, I decided to create my blog, when I deemed the time is right, and what better way to do it after my 1000 post which is here.
http://www.narusaku.com/index.php?s=&s...st&p=354942 Now, note that I might go on and on with this opening post, just to give thanks to the people where over the months who has pretty much helped me get to this point on the way I impose myself in this particular forum, but since there's too many of them, I would like to thank specifically to my chatroom buddies. I would first like to thank Zac for creating the chatroom and for being the first person I ran into that has similar music tastes as I do. Now then, I would like to thank for the following: Leo, Ani, Kyuu, LID, Yondy, Tsu, Muffins, Yoko, Shadow, Jo, Krisk, and the many other frequent people that comes to the chatroom that puts up with the crap that I said over the near five months that this chatroom has been created. Now, then I would like to thank the following people here, that posts often, for giving me a chance to give my opinions on certain topics: Sakura Lover, Phantom 999, Fenris, and Donjoseph, thanks for reassuring me and others that we're backing the right ship. If they are others that I haven't mentioned, I'm really sorry, its hard to give too many specific names and you go ahead and say them here and I shall personally thank you, maybe, if I'm not lazy. Also, I would like to thank the mods for trying to keep a tight ship around here to make sure that everything does not get out of hand and when they do, you guys will always put the fire out. Now, then since a few days back, I have decided that when I reached 1k, that I'm going to take a few steps back and not post as often as I do in the past and probably just focus on this blog. And who knows, maybe someday, I can get back to my average post per day number which, now at the time of this post, stands at 5.29 So what is this blog going to be based on? I don't know, honestly, heck, I might not even update this from time to time since I'm so darn lazy. I'm probably going to talk about personal issues, but not likely, (and on not college stuff, since that stuff is too hard to live through, it sure as hell hard to relive it in my mind, so let's avoid that all together), maybe give certain poker hands and play-money tournament results sometimes, I've only won one touney where there were over 2000 people. Since I'm a wrestling fan as well, we could talk about that for those that watch wrestling. Maybe you guys can ask me anything about my high school years and stuff of that nature, but not college (for reasons above this statement). Also for those that are in high school, if you guys want to list your problems and woes here, then that's fine by me as well and I'll see if I can do my best to say what I think might help ease the problem. Note that whatever I say may not always help alleviate the problem and if it makes it worst, then I'm absolutely sorry. Well, also on a final note, if any of you guys have or had any issues with me in the past or now, then you guys can go ahead and vent them out here and we shall talk it in here when the moment comes.
On an another final note, here's a picture of my dog, looking all depressed when he's lied down, but he's a cheerful guy and always makes my day. --Click here to view--

So you're an Alter Bridge fan, eh? What's your favorite song?
I saw them live at the Minnesota State Fair this past summer. Tremonti can really lay down a tune, that's for sure. Also, don't worry about posting too much. If your posts have substance, there's not really any need to cut back. This post has been edited by Boom...Winning: Dec 4 2011, 05:26 AM ![]() |

So you're an Alter Bridge fan, eh? What's your favorite song? I saw them live at the Minnesota State Fair this past summer. Tremonti can really lay down a tune, that's for sure. Its a pretty tough call, I'm probably going to say either Open Your Eyes or Rise Today, which got me introduced to the band. Brand New Start, New Way to Live, Down to my Last, and Blackbird are all awesome. And from AB III, Coeur D'Alene, Fallout, and Slip to the Void are my favorites there. So as you can see, its a really tough call. I guess I have to say Brand New Start or Coeur D'Alene, since those are the songs that probably gives me the most solace when dealing with life's challenge. Yeah, I'm a really slow person like that, but I was just waiting for the right time to start one and since I'm not going to post as much as I used to, since I already reach 1000, I might as well spend my forum time here or at the ramen bar looking at various new topics and articles.

Cool! you have a blog now buddy! The avatar with the dog in the lobster costume is not my dog, but the fact that I found a picture of a corgi (my dog's type of breed) in that costume, I thought that it was a no brainer trying to get an avatar for it, so I found a thread in my twoplustwo forum (poker forum) that creates avatars and that picture has been my avatar in all the forums I'm in since then. Plus the fact that the avatar looks like my dog makes it more funny to me. This post has been edited by Anguyen92: Dec 4 2011, 09:38 PM ![]() ![]() Sound City Players - A Trick with No Sleeve |

Yeah, I know, in fact, my sister would often dress up my dog in a t-shirt, that says "Hot Dog", an LA Kings T-shirt that says "Two-minutes for ruffing", and she once dressed him in a santa outfit. Also she gave me this link to this site.
Corgis in Costumes and yes, sometimes my dog gets very sad when he's wearing them. This post has been edited by Anguyen92: Dec 5 2011, 01:09 AM ![]() ![]() Sound City Players - A Trick with No Sleeve |

If I was the dog, I'd definitely find a way to get rid of the costume or at least hide away from my owner.

Well, just for the good stuff, I entered a 27-person online play money touney and interesting thing is that when there was like 14 left, I lost a coin-flip which means, two hands against each other are pretty much have an even chance of winning, which left me crippled (down to very little chips) and I was ready to get going to get busted and play in another one, and the first hand, I shoved with an A-5 and got called in the big blind with I think 10-8. Flopped an Ace while the person had a flush draw and I survived the hand for a moment. And then I doubled up again, can't remember the hand. Then, I had a person with fewer chips shoved all-in on my big blind and I was priced in to call 4.75 to 1 odds (meaning I need to have about a 17% chance to win the hand) with 10-4 of hearts and manage to hit my straight on the river.
And then I manage to double up again with K-10 against A-J and hit three tens on the flop and at that point, I'm in the final table (down to 9), and I doubled up with A-K suited against A-K off and hit the flush on the turn to actually give me a fighting chance to win the tournament. Unfortunately, I finished 3rd where I had A-Q against 7-7 and my opponent hit a 7 on the turn to finish me off, but sometimes that's the way it is in the game. Overall, I was really surprised on how things went and when I got out of the red zone and into playing my comfortable position I played pretty well and it is what it is. Sorry guys, if you can't understand what I just said in the last few paragraphs, but you know, I will sometimes say this stuff and if you can't understand this mumbo-jumbo, then either disregard it or ask me any questions about it, because I, sometimes, like to talk about poker plays and stuff like that. ![]() ![]() Sound City Players - A Trick with No Sleeve |

And this is not much of a math blog, though if there comes a time, maybe I can probably demonstrate some poker math, the one thing I regretted not doing during AP calculus during senior year. ![]() ![]() Sound City Players - A Trick with No Sleeve |

Sweet, after a few days of playing some of these 27 people play money touneies and not really placing as well as I thought to my standards, I finally actually won one of them and how I did it is to my liking.
When the touney is down to like 12, someone raised on the button with A-6, and I moved all-in with 10-10 and survived the double up and played pretty strong, as I should, before the touney breaks from two tables to one. And then I knocked out a low-stack player in 9th by making a straight. But then, I hit a metaphorical land mine, where I had top pair in position, which means acting last in every street which means that I get to gauge on what my opponent does before making my move, and then my opponent in the big blind (person that has to put double the small blind before every hand), made two pair on the river which caused me to lose half my stack. However, the blow was so big to me that I moved all-in with 2-2 with less than 10 big blinds after like two limpers (just putting the big blind without investing more chips) to pick up the pot without a challenge and I got called all-in by the big blind with A-Q, putting me in a coin flip, with I somehow won, having to dodge like 10 cards where if one of them showed up I was gone, which means that there was down to 7. And then like three hands later, I called an all-in with a ace-high flush draw (I was getting like 3.5 to 1 on a call, which means that I needed a 22% chance of winning the hand to make the call and I had that with 9 cards to make a flush and three cards to pair my ace which I know that it was good) and my opponent had a weaker flush draw and then surprise, surprise, I knocked that player out as well, so at this point, my confidence was at a high, that I hadn't been feeling in a while, which is always good. Then after playing strong and solid, the touney was down to two people, and after a back and forth battle, I manage to come out on top and I liked the way I come out and yeah.
