Ohoho! Hello there, fellow Otaku
 I am the almighty ANIME GURU!!! I have been sent to Earth from the Forbidden Planet to enlighten those of you that are on the path to the Nirvana that is Animegasming! Now that I'm out of character, I'll explain what this is about... Request an anime to watch! And I'll recommend one for you  That's right! Just pick a genre or something that you specifically want to watch, or even something similar to another anime you liek and I'll suggest one for you! Now then, LET THE THREAD BEGIN!!! |

Alright I'll bite. I would like to watch romantic comedies that has good character development, enough drama and most importantly a conclusion of the pairing at the end of the series! I hate it when it ends without anyone getting together. Makes all the romantic moments between some characters redundant. For example animes like Toradora. Still can't find an anime that can beat that. Oh and it could be shonen to as long as there's the romantic sidestory.

You know, if you do it right, you can get your PhD in anime like my husband did.
So now he gets to call himself Dr. Anime.(He specifically studied the informal education processes of anime fans as they learned about Japanese culture, but his research largely involved going to anime cons and anime club meetings.) We run a "Shoujo Sunday" meeting of anime fans once a week. We recently finished up Puella Madoka Magika, and Hatorakiman. We're going to go classic on one side and go with Marmalade Boy, but we're looking for a more recent series to balance it out. Requirements: - Shoujo - Released in the last 5 ish years - NOT a high school comedy - Preferably something dark or at the very least serious Any ideas?
