Nice reveal. I'd almost forgotten how they became suspects in the first place.

 

The animation for the Colossal titan looked a bit stiff? And did anyone notice the sub wasn't 100%? It only covered the first half of the sentences on watchsnk. for me.

Ah yes. The episode made me remember something.

 

Music/sound can seriously make the moment amazing. Attack on Titan should be considered lucky. Honor that. It's sad that other series you want to do good like TG may never see that light. I guess you just have to get lucky. Shame...

I'm feeling quite lost right now.

 

I haven't read the manga and i didn't want to start watching season 2 until the last episode comes out so i can just watch it in one sitting.

But i had this short vacation and I rewatched season 1 while I was traveling, then I ended up checking out the first episode of season 2.

 

I have a hunch about the "reveal" already. I believe my suspicion arise whenever I saw that mini snippets of information they show during season 1.. I think it was the one with a picture of all the 104th training batch where they highlighted the smallest to tallest.

I was probably trying to be optimistic that's why I always brush the idea away. It was obvious that colossal and armored titan are shifters but the question left was who are they?.. and my intuition is screaming who they are but I don't want to accept it lol because I like the armored one.

 

 

But lo and behold that episode before the "reveal", the one when they were stuck in the tower, I was like oh shizt oh shizt and then they reveal it just like that, as if to say "Sasha farted".

 

I'm considering to read the manga already and not wait for the anime anymore. althoo I'm not sure if its a good idea.

In case you couldn't tell, this is Eren. Everyone can already tell.

 

1. Armband on backwards.

2. He cut his leg off because there was no war in-between him following Reiner as scene in chapter 93, and him pretending to have PTSD in chapter 94. No reason to cut leg off to act injured and mentally damaged unless he could just grow in back.

3. In a spin-off comic, Eren said he was about to grow facial hair to resemble his father.

4. The hair matches the 17 year old Eren we saw in the few 1 year timeskip panels.

Season 3 is confirmed for next year. Also, it shows the latest volume cover, a big indication that it could last longer than season 2. If so, that's good news.

So it will go back to the standard 25-26 episode season then? Probably the smartest move so that it doesn't make too much expectations for the hype.

I made this comment before, but I already stated that this volumes is gonna be the last one I get because I wanna see how this final arc plays out in its entirety before I get start buying them again. So I'd probably say give or take summer or fall of 2018 I'll resume my collection on the manga since by then most likely it'll be finished.  Unless something crazy happens between now and by the time December rolls around which is when Volume 23 comes out then I'll also consider buying them again.

 

You might ask why take a break with this Volume? Well the cover kinda shows why. 

 

 

Nonetheless I still love the series, and I'll do my live reaction Chapters 94 and 95 I believe to the manga pretty soon most likely tomorrow.

Thoughts on the manga as of right now

First of all, I want to clarify that I am not a die-hard fan of the series. It's personally hard for me to feel hyped for a monthly manga. That means, I read the chapter, but don't really do anything else beyond that such as going on reddit forums, discussing, and watching youtube reviews (not that college allows me to do anything much beyond quickly reading a chapter anyways). So my memory is a bit fuzzy, even as far ten chapters back.

 

I absolutely love finding about the history of the titans. I was a bit mind-blown to find out that all this time, the story took place on a small island and that the Titans killing the people inside the walls were pretty much transformed humans with the same ancestry aka the Eldians. Isayama has pretty much shown that he has written the main outline of the story from the get-go and didn't just make things up along the way (like other shounen mangakas U_U). It's kind of funny b/c didn't he say that he was originally planning to kill everyone off...?

I also am very glad that we finally got to find out about the truth, that is Reiner's, Berthold's, and Annie's reason for destroying the walls. Truth be told, I think at this point, Reiner is a better developed character that Eren. I don't like Reiner at all, but I think he is just giving better characterization. Several of the side characters in this manga are better developed and more interesting than the main character at this point. Sorry, Eren.

As for chapter 96, I enjoyed it. It was an interesting to see this chapter paralleling the first few chapters of the manga. It was a bit nostalgic. The smiling titan though... Dina really couldn't handle Grisha getting a second wife, lmfao.

Well for me that kind of B.S. They more like terrorist than a good guy , destroying the wall how many innocent people died because of them?? and in the end they DARE to say "To Save Humanity"?? . They are just like terrorist that think they are on sacred mission to cleanse the land and save humanity to make better world ... which by killing .... how ironic ..... I SERIOUSLY kittening hope there's not gonna be any more word like "THEY ARE THE COOLEST GUY EVER" after that .....
