I should probably read D.Gray-man sometime.

It's one of the first series I followed. It's Akatsuki done right, heroine done right (or rather Sakura done right with emotional for right reasons and kicking asses), and more. You'll enjoy it.

Yeah D Gray Man is that good mixture of Final Fantasy, Naruto, and Bleach all in one story. All of the characters are interesting in their own right. I'm so happy Hoshino is back!! (Plus I get to see my manga crushes again)

Yeah... It's a weird manga It's very popular in Japan though, but it's honestly not for everyone. I put it on hold after episode 3...

There's no HunterxHunter thread, so I'm just gonna post this theory here- and no, the manga is not returning

I'm watching the Greed Island arc in HunterxHunter right now. While I understand Gon considering Mito his mom sends a beautiful message about how bonds are thicker than blood sometimes (not that gaiden did this convincingly, lol), you can't help but wonder about Gon's biological mom. I seriously wanted to punch my screen when he decided to not finish listening to his tape, lol.

We virtually know nothing about his mom. And there's a chance that that may stay like that for a long time (or the entirety of the manga) like Luffy and Naruto...

And then I found this crazy theory XD

Just theory crafting, lol. Though I still have to see him in the anime.

Not that it helps that many people think he just had a one night stand -.- (I highly doubt that though).

So about D.Gray Man: It'll be released quarterly, so every three months... I'm expecting it to have about 80 to 90 pages per chapter then.

That's the first time I've heard of such a long waiting schedule, but I'm sure this relieves some stress on the mangaka who's still dealing with health issues, I think. And I'm sure the art will improve, too

I guess story saves art. Well, OPM sure took that to the fullest. Lol. Anyway, I am used to art not being at its core from other series. I always saw TG like Slender Man art, sketchy and terror. That said at times it could be a bit hard to know the action. Though I wonder how volume edition looks.

As for D.Gray-Man, it was a hidden gem. It wasn't shown in broadcast TV but it did release DVD and even Blu-Ray when it was still new to Blu-Ray universe for anime. It was an underrated series that is secretly behind Naruto and Bleach for USA while in Japan it was like the fourth kind. Think as Kuroko plot, being one generation of miracle member that many was unaware of since it happened at the last minute. Basically, DGM was like that. I even review the anime which I may find it and post it in honor of the series return. It was old and I was still new at it, so ratings can be a bit high. I was such a fan of it. Looking back, it still holds up.

As for people's reaction, well think as HxH returning, only not as loud. The thing is this series is legitmately good. It was something people even me wish it had more exposure to everyone. It could have but the hiatus took the toll. To me, I believe she's doing this special story to see if people are still interested. If they are, then they are very faithful and I would be happy for them to be dedicated.
