Could it be? Is it the worst Naruto movie rated there?

I didn't know National Treasure was a Naruto movie. lol

Kishimoto has a lot of creative ideas, but his execution of said ideas is poor. Also, he fails to stick to a proper message, instead he keeps switching it throughout the story. Not to mention making something like Naruto and Sakura's closeness a red herring is downright incompetent writing. Don't even get me started on the handling of characters such as Sasuke and Obito (heck, even Naruto and Sakura were poorly handled).

In other words, he is a bad writer with good ideas. He needed a good editor/assistant to stop him from losing track.

I'm glad Hinata's not acting as I was expecting her all along. She gained confidence and her relationship with Naruto is normal, no blushing or stuttering.

Seems there is slight Temari + Shikamaru, Ino + Sai, and Hinabi + Konohamaru pairing as well.

Didn't Kishi say he wanted to continue being a mangaka? Does that not require people to admire your skill in writing? How can he hope to sell anything if he keeps disappointing his fans like this?

You overestimate the larger part of his fanbase, they have no standards. That's why this movie will do well despite everything.

That scene of Hinata fighting looks really cool. Way too cool for her, in fact. That's not Hinata at all.
