Geez, am I the only one getting annoyed by the Twilight craze? Sure Twilight was pretty ok, but stupid fangirls ruined it for me. I wonder what the reaction will be when others hear about this? XD

Alright. Wtf.
Who's idea is this? It's getting less funny by the second. Now we can have some Twilight Otaku girls.

Ok. I guess one should revive the Ye Olde Index of Forbidden Books.
And the first book there... Twilightseries + the manga

This Twilight craze is shooting right up the roof. I think it's fine and all that people fan-whatever about the book and movie, but extending it into a manga is stretching it by more than a little. I had the same reaction when I discovered that Deltora Quest, a series of books I had spent my primary school years reading, had been made into an anime. Western books and anime/manga just don't... fit somehow, in my opinion. Some may be able to pull it off, but I don't think Twilight is going to be one of them. There's also been talk of a Twilight anime, but that's nowhere near confirmed...
At least some people will be happy, I guess. XD

It's not surprising. Twilight seems like a westernized version of typical shoujo stories you seen from Korea/Japan. It appeals to a certain demographic and thus they are marketing it by creating more adaptions which can even be spread to irregular cases such as manhwa.
If you dislike Twilight you should try the adult version, TrueBlood. Though warning, it has lots of bloody (no pun intended) sex.

On the one hand, Twilight is pretty abysmal. On the other hand, if this effort proves profitable, or is well received, it could open the door for some other movies being turned into manga format.
Don't tell me you wouldn't like to see Kill Bill, Transformers, Cloverfield, etc. turned into manga format. I know I would.
