I guess narusaku (sakunaru?), karisasu and kibanaru hinanaru all got a bit of fanservice in this chapter. But that last page was very powerful.

Great developments

Swirly faced Zetsu is alive! A lot of people were theorising that he died sometime between Tobi's birth and the present. Apparently he's managed to stay off the radar this whole time. He's even manipulating the Shinju to fight which is apparently still existent and the Alliance forces are fighting against it. He was probably the most badass this chapter.

 

What's funny about this chapter is how contradictory it is regarding Hiruzen's combat prestige. Much of the fandom didn't take his hype seriously yet we see him now using ninjutsu of all five elements whilst maintaining five clones. I'll admit that I was skeptical about his fame as well but this chapter is the beginning of a reevaluation of Hiruzen. He's actually beginning to live up to his hype as "the Professor". 

 

Probably the most important development is with Sakura and Naruto. No doubt everyone is going into a frenzy at the moment so I'll leave that be. 

 

At least we got confirmation that an Uzumaki can't survive the extraction process. This chapter really seems to be Kishi's method for answering many of the questions that the fans have formulated over the years.

i laughed, but i was annoyed at the panels wasted on her at the same time. precious panels that should be used for team guy was used for her. urgh.

Ugh, just seeing Hinata makes me sick to my stomach. What was the point of including her in the chapter at all? All she did was trip and fall on her face.

Suppose 4th will leave other half chakra to save Naruto or Sakura somehow pick chiyo jutsu to save him.

As for Sasuke, Orochimaru seem to have something of his sleeve.
