This picture makes me hellishly mad. Like really? there are so many other characters deserving of that spot then her, but as usual Hinata is rewarded for doing NOTHING. Its sickening.

How about Neji? How about Sai? HOW ABOUT IRUKA FOR GODS SAKE. 

Or Konohamaru...there were such better characters for this then Hinata-donothinghyuuga.

BS, Sai had his arc completed and had no reason to be alive, except to hang in there.

 

What about Suigetsu, Jugo, Karin, and many others.

 

Heck, Suigetsu went throught hell and no one ever gave him  even a kittening "thank you" No ONE!
The least sasuke could have done was to gift him his Kusanagi sword or something. Or help him get the swords in a legit way.

 

The only thing that pushed me to keep reading this manga was the illusion that Suigetsu would Meet Mei. Then I would see if kishimoto ever read my letter or if he ever considered it.

But alas Taka got deleted from existance and Mei ended up alone and miserable.
FFS Suigetsu didnt even become the Mizukage.

I got a response from a NH fan from one of my tumblr posts about why NS was impossible in the context of the story. Said the usual things, "no proof of love from Naruto", "NS was shot down in 469", blah blah just the typical ignorant things we hear from them but okay I was willing to hear it out.

 

"Hinata's feelings were always glorified and exaggerated. Kishi won't have unrequited love at the end of the story. For Hinata's feelings to be shoved aside would not only be superfluous be downright tragic---"

What's actually tragic is that the 40 year old mangaka has the same crappy mentality.

 

That's why kishi to need to justify this pairing.
The fact that studio clown and kishi need to erase NS only proof of how bad nh is.

That and Kishi went out of his way to retcon NS just to save face. He talked about how he believed that Hinata's long-standing feelings for Naruto deserved a happy ending. Side character's feelings matter more than main character's feelings ? So he had to downplay Naruto's selfless feelings for Sakura or else his Hinata argument would come off as hypocritical. 

 

Kishi and SP knew there was no way they could ever make NarHina look as good as NaruSaku. That ship had sailed because all the pairing developments were set in stone in the manga chapters. So they chose the cowardly way out of this fix. They asspulled filler flashbacks and over-sensualized the NH scenes while at the same time pushed Naruto and Sakura apart. All this just to raise NH's bar and lower NS's bar in an attempt to justify their bs ending and save face.

 

Too bad it worked out the exact opposite way though. Majority of the Naruto fans, even ones who did not care about the pairings found this cheap and disgusting. Hell, I have even seen some NH fans expressing disappointment with the way the NS bond was treated in the end. Kishi's retcons backfired spectacularly.

The people in this picture have importance to team seven and NARUTO. The only person Taka is relatively important to on team 7 is Sasuke... and not that much apparently. 

I know you like Suigetsu, but he doesn't trump Neji, Sai or Yamato as having more importance to Naruto then Hinata. Also, I like Sai and there was no reason for him to have to die...although death was probably better for him then this kitten.

I saw one of my hooks on the floor yesterday and cried because All i had was red yarn...

To be honest, I don't believe neither Kishi or Pierrot will concern themselves too much with the death of one spurned fan, assuming it's actually true. It won't interfere with their sales figures or the future of the series. Any death is a tragedy, but even if they did hear of it, they might just interpret it as a fatal action birthed by overzealousness for a silly fictional relationship that was never intended to happen (it wouldn't be surprising if they actually have themselves convinced that NH/SS was always valid).

Sai dying instead of Neji would have made more sense to be honest, and it would be more heartbreaking too

Tsunade dying would have made more sense...HINATA dying would have made the best sense since she's so damn eager to do it...

We already know Neji's death was pointless, and NO ONE needed to die at that moment to teach Naruto a lesson he had already apparent;y learned from Itachi and kittening Jiraiya.

Neji dies and then its almost as if he gets swept under the rug for something that was supposed to be a big deal....ahh Kishi, that half-assed writing is superb.

Who exactly within the core fandom (AKA within Japan's geographical and population) is grousing over the stupidity of this film and the ending for over month's worth of time? Much of the criticism and denunciation that I've seen has come from selective Tumblr accounts with a clear bias towards NS/SK. "Many people" are indeed upset, but it isn't necessarily for the same primary reasons that we have to be upset over. Furthermroe, from what several other posters have already commented on the reception in Japan, it appears that while many are dissatisfied, they are accepting the finale since it is still the resolution to the original Naruto manga.
