Check out the story and more pics over at Kotaku.
I just hope that the lucky recipient looks after it carefully!
@Phantom, I'm still holding off on the Wii U as well. I've been tempted to get the Premium at £240 (£60 off retail) thanks to 20% staff discount at one point, but I'm banking on Nintendo or shops cutting prices due to lack of sales. Asda have already started offering the Premium at £250 on their website, so I'm hoping that a little price war will start in the next few months. The games should hopefully really start to flow from this Autumn/Fall, so I'll wait a bit longer and keep saving up until then.

Oh wow, that's incredible. It's amazing how talented some people are. @___@
I haven't checked in a while, but back in January when I got mine, there were some good deals on eBay. I got the Deluxe version for the same price as the Basic one ($50 cheaper than the retail price), and I doubt the inevitable price drop is going to be significantly more than that. I figure this way I'd be getting those Ambassador games too.
I could be wrong about the price drop though, the 3DS drop was pretty crazy.

Definitely Kage Smiter. I'm a little tight on money right now but I hope to earn something during the summer. Cool Paper Zelda!! (I confess though, playing that Super Mario Bros. Wii U demo at EB Games nearly broke me down.)
Any one interested in that new Wind Waker remake? Even if it is just to enhace the cel shaded graphics to make the look more gorgeous I still can't hep it. Wind Waker is one of my all time favorites. (despite the complaint on its appearance.)

And as for the paper craft... I remember seeing a Link one roughly the same size about a few years ago. Are they made by the same person?

I'm definitely ready for it, WW is at the top of my favorite list, and if the OOT remake is anything to go by, it will only be more fun this time around. It certainly helps that Monster Hunter will probably be my only Wii U game before that comes out (bar Nintendoland). I'm pretty stoked to see what new features they add.
*stops staring at adorable pink-haired girl finally*
I doubt they'll be doing another one for a while. The Majora's Mask 3DS petition is still going on, but I guess they want to focus on doing a new 3DS Zelda first. I think it's likely we'll get a new Wii U Zelda before Twilight Princess and maybe Skyward Sword get remade.
Here's the Direct clip on Zelda U.
Not much, but Eiji's comments on 'rethinking the conventions' is pretty interesting. I wonder if we'll see more sequence-breaking in the next Zelda.
And oh yes, Smash Bros. 4 can't come out soon enough.

Uh, this would be their second. Unless they given in to fan demands for Majora's Mask. but I may get the Wii U for WW remake cause I bought the 3DS for OOT remake too.

That, Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker were the ones I always wanted to play but never had the console (I played Link to the Past and Minish Cap on a emulator years ago) so I'm 2 for 3 once I end up getting a Wii U.
I might be the only one that prefers the look of Wind Waker as it used to be, the environments are nice but somethings been lost with the character models, they now look a little more 3d than the cell shaded look and they kind of stick out from the background, it still looks fantastic but I just feel its kind of lost its charm that comes from graphical limitations.

For all the Zelda fans here (the ones that own a 3DS anyway), Oracle of Ages and Oracles of Seasons are now available on the eShop. For the next month or so, you can get them each a $1 off ($4.99 each instead of $5.99 - not sure if there's a similar deal for UK / EU). There's supposedly a link feature for people who have both games, since they're meant to be played together, but I don't know the details.
I can't wait to try these out again. They came out when I was in elementary school, and I haven't played them in forever. They were pretty much the only reason I kept my Game Boy Advance laying around.
Also, I think this might be my first post on the new H & E. I like it!

I didn't know there is going to have remake of Gamecube Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for Wii U. I still have it and I love to play it. I don't know there is going to be a bit difference for a new one (except new graphic). Or is it?
I don't think it's gonna be significantly different, probably just a graphical upgrade, and some new features for the Gamepad+Miiverse and Off-TV support. It'd be cool if they add stereoscopic aiming, like the 3DS remake of Ocarina of Time used. It was a pretty nifty feature in that game, I like playing the sling-shot / archery minigames without touching the control pad. Maybe they'll put in some Easter Eggs for the Link to the Past sequel, like OoT 3D did with Skyward Sword.
It was mentioned that they'd be "tuning" the gameplay though, whatever that means. I've heard a lot of fans didn't like the long boat sequences and Triforce searching quest at the end of the game, so maybe they'll be changing that up.
And I'm also really excited for it! Wind Waker is tied for my favorite Zelda game, so getting an HD upgrade was terrific news.

Right so the New Zelda Game for the 3Ds will be called a Link Between Worlds. coming out in November to December I think. And WW Hd is coming out in October. No news on the New Zelda for the Wii U though.

I got it as well. It's a nice mix of nostalgia and new stuff, it made me smile whenever I saw anything from A Link to the Past. The painting mechanic is really inventive. The non-linear dungeons and rental scheme are interesting and do freshen up the formula, but the downside can be that you get a little puzzled on which dungeons to go to once you get the Master Sword. Sometimes you'll make it to one and find you can't get any further because you don't seem to have the necessary item/gear (and it's not on rent).
Overall, Link Between Worlds is a lot of fun and challenging. I'm looking forward to the weekend so I can play it a bit more!
