For those who don't know their is going to be a Sly Cooper Movie in 2016.

Yeah I saw this a few weeks ago when it was announced.

 

Not gonna lie as a fan of the games it took a wee bit to get used to the change of art styles between the games and the movie but I think they struck a nice balance between the film noir meets Saturday morning cartoon style of the games and the more detailed look a 3d animated movie requires, though I'm not sold on the changes made to Murray I think they took the brute of the gang look too far.

 

I am bummed that they got Bentley and Murray's voice actors from the games back but recast Sly, it just doesn't sit well with me and feels inconsistent especially with the Ratchet and Clank movie retaining all the actors from the games.

 

I really appreciate that the teaser is more of a short film and though I'm looking forward to both Sly Cooper and Ratchet and Clank I think Sly makes a better first impression with that decision of what the teaser should be.

But seriously a Ratchet and Clank movie in 2015 then a Sly Cooper movie in 2016, how much do I need to pay to get a Jak and Daxter movie in 2017 then an Avengers style crossover movie in 2018? Please?

Who knows they might be planing that. Just hope they don't change Murry's look to be like that in future games.
