The POAL was to bring Sasuke back to the village right? So if Sasuke decides to go all lone ranger and travel the world by himself, even if he is 'redeemed', does that mean that Naruto still fulfilled the promise?

It can be, but it's up to someone. It's like saying I will save this man who was turned into a monster, but he ended up dead; however, he was changed into a good guy and died happy, so one person will tell me I kept my words.

Having a confession to happen between either of them to now so close to the end seems too much of an impossible dream for it happen to me unfortunately :sad:

If there would be a moment in the end for the two I would bet more likely Sakura telling Naruto that she is truly going to stop loving Sasuke and to hope one day be a friend he can depend on just like Naruto. And after hearing that Naruto would sheepishly ask Sakura if she would go with him for a bowl of ramen (I DONT CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS RAMEN WILL HAPPEN IN THE END!!!

) and she'll teasingly accept in return.

And if by any miracle chance that he mentions her forehead by accident and she remembers that the day by the bench, then as he walks off she looks at his back quietly showing a warming smile.........will be more then enough of an idication for me and everyone else that good things are to come between the two in the future!!!

Sasuke's extremely unpredictable most of the time, so anything could happen when it comes to him.

I agree. He shocks me more than Naruto does, most of the times.

Idc.. guys.. So touched that Naruto is coming to an end...

Im 20 so.. with the ending of Naruto its like my childhood/Teen years come to an end...

Im glad though.. that i was able to follow this manga from the start to the end..
