The NS romance probably won't go the way the NH romance did (least I hope so) because:
1) The timeskip doesn't seem as massive. Two years clearly passed in the movie, but here, maybe 6 months at most since Naruto has his more likable hair style
2) Naruto and Sakura HAVE a history. The writers for the Last had to pull the NH out of thin air because Kishimoto was determined not to touch on NH, even if it was going to become canon (and despite the timeskip in the original, it seems Naruto and Hinata never even talked as friends).
3) The issues between Naruto and Sakura ARE being addressed. Both of Sakura's confessions were shown, and Sasuke is going to have more than a mere cameo here (according to the author).
I think the way this will play out is Sakura is feeling down for some reason, and Naruto takes the opportunity (for once) to talk with her. Their respective visions are shared, they may have something of an argument, and Naruto actually confesses. Again, given the canon history between the two, this will actually be believable.
