So lets discuss it again.

 

So short story. My roommate never kept up with naruto like I did, he stopped reading at the ending of the Pain Arc, and just was there for my Salty Tears at that kitten show of an ending. (Hes a NaruHina shipper) So hes been playing the newest Naruto VIdeo game and playing through the story to catch up on the story. (Its a kitten way to do it I know.) So last night he was at the part where of course Kushina gives naruto advice on girls. Now Correct me if Im wrong but I remember reading. "Dont pick a weird one and find one like me."

 

Last night what I heard from the voice over was. "Dont fall for the first one you meet and find one like me." I once told me roomate the Parallels between Kushi and Saku, and once he again he decided to rub it in my face.

 

So were we all wrong this whole time about that little quote?

The parallels are confirmed by both Kishi and the VA's, so there is nothing to discuss. The only ones not acknowleding them are those who don't want to, in this case putting game>manga. It's hilarious they're so afraid of them when they call them parallols. ÔO What does it matter to them now anyway? Didn't help us in the end.

I never knew it was confirmed, never really followed interviews and such. I guess what really made it have that little bit of doubt is there are numerous folks who translated naruto, so there could have been different interpretations for it. But you're right its w.e now.

Wow they changed the wording for that God damn game? :lmao:

 

Plus... canon wise... he "picked" the first girl he loved. Since he never "loved" Sakura, and didn't even understand the idea because he thought Hinata loved him like ramen noodles until he feel under a magic spell that made him remember something that couldn't possibly of happened when he was a kid.

 

This story just is broken. On every level.

 

Our job now is to laugh at the canon, and rebuild what was. Nothing more. Tell your friend that his shallow love for a pair of drawn breast ruined this story.

No we were not wrong. Viz just translated that line into "Don't fall for the first one..." the raw version, the original text is "Don't fall for a weird one..." but for the sake of argument let's say that the viz translation is correct. That still a negative towards NH, since the first girl that had "feelings" for Naruto is Hinata, plus it continues with "Pick someone like your mother" which of course Hinata isn't.

 

However that line doesn't matter anymore.

No we were not wrong. Viz just translated that line into "Don't fall for the first one..." the raw version, the original text is "Don't fall for a weird one..." but for the sake of argument let's say that the viz translation is correct. In VIZ it's "don't fall for the first girl that comes your way". That could apply to Sakura who Naruto liked first but it could also apply to Hinata who was the first girl to confess her love to him.
None of that matters though since Minato already confirmed that Sakura is like Kushina & the "find someone like me" line is still in VIZ.

I"ll stick to the original saying "Don't pick the Werid one pick someone like me". They basically changed the wording for something so stupid as a NaruHinata reference. I find it compelelty sad and hilarous.

Yup sadly but pitifully they rewrote the entire scene to make it sound like it's a Naruto x Hinata scene which is kitten. He is shown not to love Hinata or he would be spending more time with the family he had with her and also resolving the Ninja system which he promised to break in the first place. 😐 Naruto or this clone is not my character I have come to love over the years.

They kind of change it in the anime actually. Rather than saying "this women is eerily similar to Kushina", it says "this women reminds me a little of Kushina."

I dont watch the Filler hell I havent watched the anime since the pain arc. What is all going on?

 

Chunin Exams to lure the Akatsuki out, King. Fu is in there, and Sakura was thinking about Naruto at one point early on, showing how all of this of showing most of the Leaf 11 before Naruto's return is just damage control. 'Nuff said.
