#905341 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 18 March 2016 - 12:42 AM

Ok, I found information on this finally. An anon told the story to the person who run that "hina**** and rock kun" tumbler

I edited the quote for better grammar:"So I heard that in Japan's Twitter. There was a character popularity vote for some Naruto mini game. And some stupid Hinata fans tried to get Hinata as high as possible by creating multiple accounts and keep voting for Hinata. When they got busted they try to frame it on Sakura fans, but there are people who already seen the screen shots. In the end this was widely discussed on Twitter, 2ch, and even tumblr, if I remember it right. A lot of people were pissed, so even people who didn't play the mini game start voting for other characters. Just so Hinata wouldn't be in first place. The stupid Hinata fan (or fans) were reported, and some of her votes were deleted. In the end (the voting was closed on 3/10) Hinata got the third place, with I think Kushina was in first and Sakura was in second (I am not sure). If Hinata fans didn't cheat, Temari would've gotten the third. (The first three characters can get some bonus in the game). Sorry for such a long ask, but one last thing, since the default icon for Twitter was a egg shape drawing. All the accounts that were created to vote for Hinata have the default icons, so voting record will show bunch of eggs. So people make fun of this by saying things like "Hinata's chicken farm," or "Hinata's eggs." LOL"

So the Japanese Hinata fans are as scummy as her fans in the US.

http://hinatits-and-...i-game-voting-i

"Some updates on the Naruto mini game voting. I forgot to mention that this voting was female characters only. When the voting ends, Sakura was actually the first, not sure about the second place, and Hinata is still third place. Sorry for the mistakes in the previous posts. By the way, originally only top three can get special bonus in the game, but since there is cheating, the game also gives Temari, who is the fourth place (the actual third place if there is no cheating), a bonus in the game."

So Sakura actually got first place it seem with kushina in 2nd and temari (without cheating) in 3rd.

Given how Hinata and Sasuke haven't truly changed, it's amazing how they even had kids...

They don't need to develop or change for their fans to be happy/content/satisfied that their pairing "won". Once the nH fans decided that they wanted hinata to end up with Naruto because she deserved it. Kishi could have just abandon all his plot threads and just had the next chapter be the ending where Naruto marries hinata and they would have called Naruto "the greatest manga ever." Which was after her fight with neji Kishimoto could have stopped before he even reached one hundred chapters. At the end of the day everything after they decided they wanted hinata to "win" everything else was filler that they didn't care about. All the plots. All the morals. All the characters. They didn't care about any of it. They only cared about their sexual fantasies. Same for some of the Sasuke fans.

Creepy man, very creepy.

Isn't common for loli characters to be hundreds to thousands of years old, just to try and hide the fact those people are turned on by little prepubescent girls?

Sakura try to make Sasuke compliment or poke her forehead again, and Sasuke is just like "WTF this stupid woman doing??" and just "I'm out of here" :lmao:

In my opinion Sakura should have notice somethings is not right here .... i mean she suppose to think "Why ?? didn't you said i have a charming forehead and want to kiss it??"

But too bad ... its just drawn for comedic relief ...

If you notice even salad is confused about what her mom is doing. Both Sasuke and Salad don't seem to realize that she wants Sasuke to give her a goodbye kiss or some measure of affections before he leaves. You know like most people in any level of a loving relationship would do. This just digs any idea of ss into the grave because it shows that their is no messaging between any of these people. There is no deep understand or bond between any of them. And this was the point kishimoto was throwing those fans a bone in the last two chapters. Honestly this is one of the reasons I think kishimoto truly hates the ending and the people that forced it on him.

The moment you realize that when it came to popularity polls....Hinata fans cheat for her to win. (I know you guys can;t read it, but to put it simply, Hinata fans are making dummy accounts to raise Hinata's numbers in the most popular Naruto girl poll.....AND SHE IS STILL LOSING TO SAKURA.)

Returning Sasuke to the villages should have been one of their goal but it shouldn't have been THE goal as it seemed in the story. Sakura and Naruto focus should have been defeating the Akatsuki first. Since it was established in the first arc of part 2 that their goal was to eventually capture Naruto and then kill him by extracting Kurama. So they could use it for their evil purposes. It doesn't matter if Sasuke returns to the village if Naruto is killed by the Akatsuki. Naruto becoming Hokage is the end goal of the series but that's for later on in the plot after the Akatsuki are defeated, and maybe after Sasuke is returned.

To be honest what was the point of all the Sasuke focus in Part 2? Think about it. What it look like Kishi was doing was paralleling Sasuke journey with Naruto and their revelation that the ninja system is corrupt and needs to be reformed (at least by the war arc). Sasuke case through revolution which will make him the supreme power of the world forcing everyone to submit to him, and in Naruto's case internal reform by making everyone work together to fix the system. In theory that what they were going on about. But what's the point? The entire story is setting it up that whatever plan Sasuke thinks up is wrong and Naruto's plan is right. We know this since the end of part one that when Naruto finally drags Sasuke back to the village. It will be after he made Sasuke submits to him, and his ideals. So what's the point of us seeing Sasuke's journey in such detail? The only reason to actually have it in the story is for both of them were to make their own ideas about how to reform the ninja system and then come together and combine their ideas. Which doesn't happen. Naruto wins and then Sasuke goes on a journey to find himself. As such the entire Sasuke focus is pointless to the story and is just Sasuke fan baiting filler.

And if anyone thinks using the "oh well he starts working in the shadows like he planned" by the last/gaiden/bolt movie. No. That doesn't work. Because the final battle was about their ideals and ideas of reform. So in chapter 698 when he saying he lost. He is submitting to Naruto's plan and ideals. He didn't go oh and I will do "the shadow of the ninja" while you be "the face of reform". In chapter 699 he said he was going on a journey to find himself meaning he not continuing with his original plan. But he is going on a journey to find himself, to discover what he should do with his life. So what he's doing in those stories are his "new" plan.

Half. The entire point of hinata character in the chunin exam was to be: the nice girl that is kind to naruto that get beaten up by some jerk, so that when Naruto fight him we are really motivate for him to win instead of it just expecting and waiting for him to win, because he is the main character of course he is going to win. After that kishi didn't need her. So she fell into the background until his new staff were all her fanatical fans and forced her into relevance.

"Rocci, you have to get rid of the idea that these characters have will's of their own...they don't."

Kishimoto admitted in an interview with that juice analogy. That if he needs to he will change his characters personalities, desires, and interest.

The problem is that we can't use the ending to figure out what the characters were thinking in the Land of Iron arc because their personalities could be completely different from back then. Because Kishi needed all the characters to change entirely their goal their interest their desires their arcs everything for the ending to happen. At the time Kishi said Sakura was honest about her feelings for Naruto. The thing Naruto question was if Sakura was completely over Sasuke, not the confession itself. That image during the war arc did not come off as positive about her feeling for Sasuke. And when Sai asked her about how she feel now that Sasuke was fighting with them to defeat the ten tail and wanted to become hokage (ie will have to return to the village). She said she was fine but Sai notice her smile was fake. But now we have to ignore all of that because of the ending. Because everything in the story contradicts with the ending. IT. IS. WHY. WE. ALL. HATE. THE. ENDING. NOT! BECAUSE. OF. THE. PAIRINGS. BUT. BECAUSE. IT. CONTRADICTS. THE. ENTIRE. STORY. If it didn't we all wouldn't still be complaining about it.

What began in the late 90's? As for the movement towards moe. Two possible reason for it. One it a reaction to too much tsudere. When there is too much of something there is a reaction, which means that it will eventually bounce back to tsudere. Or. Two it because the otaku have currently taken over the anime industry and they love moe. Remember moe are the shy girls that are in love with the main character that react to everything bashfully and submissively. There easy to get and easy to keep and maintain. Which is part of their appeal. Tsudere guys have to work to get the soft center which is a pain for otaku who probably never talked to a woman for any long period of time that they didn't have to buy time for or are related to.

Remember all they care about are the pairing. When you mention story plot character themes or morals it goes in one ear and out the other because they don't care.

I don't even see Naruto on TV anymore...

But its probably a different rating system in japan, so who knows when it comes on Tv...

Remember he's talking about American fans. So let see (http://www.adultswim.com/toonami/) it on at 2 Am on adult swim/toonami... Wow it use to be one of their starters in March last year. It gotten push back in the past year to basically the tail end of their shows. As for Japan from what i recall it Thursday at a really awkward time. Since i recall people on tumbler in Japan mention the effort they had to go to watch it.

So how are kids watching it on TV at 2 am? Their sleep schedules must be a mess and they must have terrible parents for letting them stay up so late. And once again pre-teen and kids means 13 and younger. They were at best 5 when Naruto was on prime time. Why would they care about a tv show they probably can't even remember watching at a decent time?

#903992 The 'Hinata' look and Naruto's popularity

...HAHAHAHA! Oh, God! Also I just love the fact that he still didn't answer the question the post was about. "What is Kishi next step in his "master plan," and what are the goals of said plan?" Instead he admits to what I've been saying for weeks if not months. They don't care about the story or author's will or intent or anything all they care about is their sexual fantasies.

#903921 The 'Hinata' look and Naruto's popularity

I still don't get the "kishi is a mastermind" part. If he is a mastermind. Then what is his plan? What are his goals? You can't be a "mastermind" without a plan or goal for you plotting. According to him it is to remove everyone that liked NS from the fanbase. But why would anyone do that and what does kishi gain from it? The point of a mangaka is to make a story. Hope that the manga sells well. So it makes a profit. So the mangaka can have a job. So that it gives them income to live and possibly raise a family on. That is the "plan" of every mangaka. Why would anyone want to remove a large portion of their fanbase for any reason? That's lost profits. But OK let us say kishi has completed that part of the "master plan" of spending 15 years writing a romance to troll his readers while putting no effort into the pairing he finally went with, and then constantly insult them to the point they all leave. OK. What phase two? The Naruto fanbase is now free of any NS fans that will pay for anything Naruto related. What's the next step in this plan? Or is that it? To be free of the NS fans? For what reason? He is not writing the Bolt manga, and all he keeps saying is that he is tired and done with the Naruto franchise. What his goal beyond no more NS in the Naruto fanbase? Was is it for the Naruto franchise to die off in Japan if not the world? Because that's what is and has happened. For his reputation to be ruined? That's also what is and has happened. What is the next step? What are his goals?

#903805 My Final Realization Of What bothered Me About The Naruto Manga

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 28 February 2016 - 12:43 PM

It got bad because after 2007 because of hinata's confession. I don't feel like checking but that scene that happened by 2007-8. Beforehand in the nH fans pitied and empathize with hinata and wanted her to get with Naruto. (The radical fans were still the same but they were more minor back then and ignorable.) But since hinata didn't have many scene of relevance back then it was more wishing kishi would do more with her. Then the confession happened and the nH fans were convince that nH will happened, that it must happen. Then they increasingly became more smug entitled and toxic.Their desire became demands and their wishes became entitlement.

As for how dispassionate they became about it. People have for years said everything about Naruto is crap, and kishi is a crappy writer. That eventually became the mainstream opinion of Naruto along with Sakura is a slutty kitten and Naruto must end up with Hinata. Fans just accepted these without putting any critical thought into the story and just stop caring about that story in general. It became simply habit to be a fan of Naruto. NS were probably some of the few fans left that had any passion left in the story, the characters, or the series in general. With us gone all that's left in Naruto are the people that use the character as basis for their sexual fantasies. SS: girl wants the sexy bad boy. nH: Boys want to punish the girl that friend-zoned them and get a sexy girl that is completely obedient and devoted to them. Girl wanted to get their man that they deserve and beat the kitten that is stealing their man. SNS: Guys want to kitten the sexy hot bad boy. Girls want the sexy hot bad boy to have sex with another hot guy.
