My thoughs about her and the chapter --Click here to view--
I'm so happy with that new addition to the Uzumaki family! I was hoping for it, but I though it was going to be impossible. I expected way less potential. I'm almost sure I said waaaay back Karin was going to be relevant. Shame the "search users posts" is not working for my own posts. I'll explain myself if you will.

By the images of her stopping to think about Naruto's words, and after her being healed by Sakura with such deep inner words, thinking about Naruto's chakra and even remembering Sakura that she was the one poisoning Naruto, it stuck me as weird for a formerly not so evolved or relevant character to have that many sudden pannel time, it was too many involvement and had to mean something. I've been waiting since then to have an explanation, and up until now, we've been shown how she manipulated the ones who where trying to get information from her and even how she's clever enough to make herself look dumb for her advantage.

So yes, I was waiting for something like this. I toyed with the idea of Uzumaki blood being the answer for a while, I like it, but didn't want to put my hopes too high, I don't like setting relatives by hair color (even though it seem to kind of work). Now I can see I should have believed it with the statement about Naruto's healing nature, is a shame Karin's own healing haven't been explained yet so I could tie that knot.

I also think (I actually believed this was what was the idea with more possibilities to become real of the two) that she might give a push to Sakura on some moment, based on an ever older chapter when both crosses paths while looking for Sasuke. I see too much symbolism there, Kishimoto seemed to want to mark them as kind of equals or opposed sides on that quest, depending on how you look at them. It'll be nice to have someone like Karin to balance Sakura, I would like that.

About the rest of the chapter... Kabuto is a creep, what else can I say? Bu I must say on his defense that I like the fact that now there's two sages on the battlefield. And Juugo's power explanation is pretty interesting too, I wonder why he doesn't ended turning to stone yet. Oh, and two Susanoos on the same side is a great view to have.

Oh! I almost forgot. I laughed with that "Dr. Snakes" from Itachi. I'm loving more ad more Itachi's sense of humor.

Now excuse me while I go back to the shadows until another of my theories become real tongue.gif

but yamato looks nothing like that picture >:U

but......now that i see that other eye.......im confused....

*_* maybe....just maybe madara the original only took only 1 eye from his bro .....thats why his eye is covered in the chapter!!!

so "Tobi" took obit's body so he can make up for the lack of eye!!!! ...............hrm......

Ok, I've been back for a few days to try to catch up about the theories around here, which are always quite interesting (I relied on this site for accurate info and spoilers, but by the way the manga was going I didn't felt like reading here anymore). But I think we all need a good re-read of some chapters.

For example, am I the only one who can't forget that frigging WALL full of sharingans? I counted (yes, I stopped and counted them) 104 sharingans, and by the look of it, they all could not fit the picture. So Tobi has more than a hundred sharingans waiting to be wasted on Izanagi, new Six Paths of Pain and whatever he wants to do with them:

Are we seriously thinking that Tobi can't be Obito because he has 2 eyes on that panel?

I agree with the one who stated that Tobi resembled Obito a lot on that image, too, and add the fact that Kishimoto carefully keeps his left eye in the shadows on every scene doesn't help shaking off that feeling either. But even though I've always been a Obitobi "believer" as you can see, and that's why I remember every scene that can back up my believing, I'm open to any other theory. It just bugs me if somebody doubts it by some detail that can be resolved with a previously shown information.

Even though I still think Obito has the higher possibilities at being the face behind the mask, I know there are flaws and things to be explained about it, starting with the 180ยบ change of mind (Madara's soul and a hit on the head are my current favourite theories), and I would have prefered the Idiot!Tobi to be Obito, not the AkatsukiLeader!Tobi we currently have. So please, crush the proofs for me, I don't want this Tobi to be Obito ;___;

By the way, please merryGOflava, don't take it personal, I quoted you just because it's the last comment I read that was doubting your own believes just because you forgot something that was already answered in the manga. I hope I did not offend you, as English is not my mother language and sometimes I end up sounding rude and not able to fully explain my point.

Soooo... TL;DR I don't think we can't say Tobi is not Obito because he has two sharingans. Tobi actually has more than a hundred. We can argue about his age fitting or not during the Kyuuby attack (which, by his shoulder's length I have my mind towards a possitive answer but still there's not a single panel to compare with an actual adult so I'm believeing what I want to believe, really), or we can arge about how OOC of him would it be to be the mastermind of all this mess (and yes, I have an opinion about that too, based on how being rock-buried and almost killed on a war can make you want to stop all wars by creating an ultimate genjutsu all over the world to make it a peacefull place).

Would anybody be so kind to show me how wrong I am so I can put Obito on a peaceful rest on my mind?
