When I had first seen the length of the chapter I was anxious that this would be the end. However, it is not so. I was also surprised at the turnaround that happened and how quick it occured. 104 Father had gotten everyones souls and looked pretty much invincible bt not he's on his edge and everyone is back. Went from Team Edward(Ewww Twilight): 0, Team Homunculus:>9000!!! Just wow!

Heh, Ed really is one of the best Shonen heroes out there. The way he defeated Pride was awesome. The fact that Kimbley got one more chance to show off his bastard self was just icing on the humiliation cake.

This is how a final battle should go. Everyone giving it their all, people getting knocked the hell out, blood everywhere, huge explosions. It's awesome.

Full Metal Alchemist was one of the first manga I read on a consistent basis. To think that it's now finished is amazing. It's been so many years since that first chapter, it's almost unbelievable.

I don't think I was disappointed with a single panel of this series. Everything about it was amazing. The characters were wonderful, the plot was unique in a world of carbon copy stories, and the battles were some of the most intense and well put together I've ever read.

I loved this final chapter, as well. The way the Homunculus was defeated was epic, with nearly every person in the series having a shot at him. And the fact that Greed is the one that finally did him in is very fitting. He wanted to control and understand everything, but the one thing he couldn't understand was a part of himself.

I'm so glad that Al and Ed were okay in the end. I was worried that we'd get a repeat of the first anime ending, but I should have known better. I guess Ed is going to have to change his name to "Somewhat Metal", since he kept his Auto-Mail leg. After how many times those things saved him during this series, I think it's only right that he chose to respect them.

Selim got to live his life over again, as an actual little boy this time. I think that should go okay. His mother seemed like a wonderful woman.

I'm a little sad that Hohenheim died, but at least he died happy.

The final splash page with photos of everyone is beautiful. Ed and Winry have kids that look just like Ed and Al! Lin actually became emperor! Mustang and Hawkeye look to be doing well, and Riza cut her hair! And of course, the Armstrong family are still completely insane.
