Okay, so I just downloaded Ubuntu Linux 7.10 alternate installer, burned it onto a disk, and got it to finally read on my PS3 and everything.
Now, when I start it up, I'm greeted by two penguins at the top, and many, many lines of text.

It gets to this part that says "kboot:" or something like that, I press enter, the USB mouse & keyboard turn off, and it doesn't do anything.

Is it installing or what?
Am I supposed to wait hours?

Edit: Ya know what? Nevermind, apparently I have to type in some codes to make it boot up, and all the ones I've tried don't work, so **** it, I'm done with this.
