That makes sense. I was wondering if they're going to make another long filler arc after this fullbring stuff is over. Its really nearing the manga and its already in its final arc so they're most probably doing the final act thing. I'm going to miss the awesome openings.

*groan* I was really hoping that would just be cancelled. I have yet to see a good Western live-action anime movie, so I obviously don't have high hopes for this one. They'd have to condense everything up until Aizen's Betrayal into the movie, and even then, the ending would probably dissapoint regular movie fans. What would the climax be? Aizen pwning everyone? Unless they insert a drastically longer fight between Ichigo and Aizen, I don't think it would work out too well as a standalone movie. Hollywood would obviously try to get a sequel out it, but I doubt it would interest non-Bleach fans if they ended the movie the same way the SS arc ended.
But who knows? Maybe it will come out, and it won't be half bad. *shrug*
I'm pretty disappointed about that. Other than a lot of understandable censorships and some stupid fillers (though still eons better than Naruto fillers), the Bleach anime has been pretty decent. Oh well, I'll just consider it as on hiatus until the manga ends, since I feel like it's almost guaranteed a Final Arc in the anime.

But on the other hand, this will really benefit the Naruto anime (in case you guys didn't know, Bleach is also part of Pierrot's works). Think about it. By April, we'll be entering the War arc (which is likely the final arc) moreover, it's the 10th anniversary for the anime. By taking Bleach off their list, they'll be able to focus the good animation teams on Naruto. It's likely they're doing this for several reasons:
1. It's the final arc (very likely)
2. It's the 10th anniversary for the anime.
3. We know Kubo likes to take his sweet ass time to write his manga, so it'd be 2015 by the time the manga has a good lead on where the anime left off. (Which also happens to be the 10th anniversary for the anime)
Reasons 1 and 2 are the driving reasons they're going to pull out all the stops for Shippuden.
The family that couldn't be.

Oh yeah, I forgot that Studio Pierrot does the Bleach anime too. I guess it's bad news for Bleach fans who don't like Naruto, but if that is true, I'm excited. Plus, if Naruto ends soon, Pierrot can put their all into the last Bleach arc, so fans of both manga will be happy. I guess Bleach fans will just have to wait for a little while.

For the movie, I have serious doubts this will ever see the light of day. Anyone remember the whole live-action American version of Death Note? And for the anime... it's like InuYasha all over again. Maybe someday they'll do a final act-like thing for Bleach.
I thought Kubo was AGAINST that. This is so gonna SUCK. And as for the anime ending, i bet it's due to all those fillers. But yeah they might do something like Final Act.
Oh here's the new chapter

Well Kubo was also for having the series run for another decade or two two, so maybe with the series coming to a climax he figured he might as well milk it for all it's worth, he makes a little extra cash and the series i already coming to a end so it won't affect the sales of the manga, and might even increase popularity of it. Though I can't see it going well, Western movies and swords just doesn't quite compute, I'm sure some exec will suggest replacing them with guns.
I wish Naruto had done this instead of the 2 years worth of fillers we got after the sasuke betrayal arc. I expect they will return for the final arc in a years time like Gintama did, that means the series will have a gap of sixty chapters which should be enough hopefully. I read somewhere it's being replaced by Rock Lee lame adventures, which is dissapointing that manga is not even that funny.

I sort of hope so. As annoying as he was, he was still the main antagonist for a LONG time. Since this is the last arc of the manga, I doubt Kubo will want to end it with another Ginjou. Plus, I've sort of wondered if there was a reason Kubo sent him to jail instead of killing him off.

I can really see Soul Society visiting his jail cell and asking for his help since he knows information about the enemy or something. I don't think he'll comeback as an antagonist again. That will really downplay this war. He had his time to wreak havoc and failed so he shouldn't do it again. It'll be tiring otherwise.

Oh I get that. I was talking about the fact that all live action anime movies SUCK compared to the anime/manga adaptations. Real life action can never replicate the stuff they do on animation/ drawing so it's gonna be watered down crap I tell you.

I don't know how much control the mangaka has over the rights to Bleach outside of manga form. So he might not have little or no say at all, and whomever does have the rights may be agreeing to do a live-action US movie for those very reasons you stated. Extra moneys. While I don't agree that swords don't work in US markets, I do agree there'll probably be a character who has a gun. I also bet that if the movie was made that Orohime will be the love interest.
I definitely think this is doable. And while I'd read somewhere that Tite Kubo had tried to make it so it was impossible to adapt Bleach into a live-action movie, I've never seen anything from the manga or anime that wasn't doable or work-aroundable. (See movie Sucker Punch as an example). While I didn't love Sucker Punch as a movie, I thought the action sequences were great and a great stepping stone on how to do action in Bleach. So perhaps Snyder can direct the Bleach movie as well if it even moves past pre-production.
It will not live up to any positive expectations it might have but it's not as separated from life now as say Dragon ball was. But that is also where my big concern is. In this day and age of High School Musicals etc... they might gear it too much towards tweens. I feel better with this being in WB's hands versus Fox who has a record of destroying adapted material on the big screen.
edited for additions
One can say I'm a little biased with this opinion since I enjoy the Naruto manga/anime much more than the Bleach manga/anime. I think Naruto is more fluid and forward moving in story. Everything is connected under one major plot point whereas Bleach is disjointed fragments (especially the anime) with every new arc seemingly just another arc about going to rescue someone (so much so that essentially all of the filler arcs for the anime revolved around this same theme). That's why I feel this move to end the anime (for now?) is a better choice then ending the Naruto anime would've been to avoid fillers.

I can see how it would be difficult to make Bleach into a movie, everything is done ultra fast with moves that are larger than life, and nearly all fights are done floating in the air, it would probably cost allot of money to make it look realistic, something I doubt the movie studio would be prepared to do as it's not a US DC/Marvel comic, so sales are not gaurenteed.

I am still very much interested in Kyoraku's bankai. He should be one of the stronger ones since Ukitake commented it would be dangerous to use it with alot of people around, and it hasn't been revealed yet.

Yeah, and I think a similar comment was made about Urahara's Bankai. Six of the current captains (as well as Love, Yorouchi, and Aizen) have Bankai abilities that haven't been revealed, so I hope we'll see at least a few of them before the manga ends. Not to mention all the other non-Captain-level shinigami who could easily pull out a surprise Bankai mid-fight, like Renji and Ikkaku did. I'd be pretty surprised if Rukia doesn't somehow reveal a Bankai before the end of the manga.
