Besides I think a LOT of you missed the point, I never said we should "close up shop, because the brand and fandom is dead". In fact I spent some (looking back probably not enough) time saying the opposite. For example, in my original post it clearly said "I am NOT saying to shut down the site or anything as stupid as that"

As for the supposed "rule" I'm apparently trying to enforce. I never said that everyone has to post regularly. I never said everyone has to bring new members. I definitely never said to take away posters freedoms, and I meant posting in this thread because someone who didn't have a friend who had said that they weren't coming back probably wouldn't have any idea whatsoever what I'm talking about.

I'm honestly not sure if I need to clarify everything I say, or if some people are reading way too much into it (or just twisting it), to the point where it means the complete opposite.

I agree with the fact that all sites, especially this one, go through cycles of inactivity, but personally I don't think that this and that are the same thing. I'm going to try and come on this site as much as I used to, and not just to check messages, but to post, be involved etc... but I honestly can't see many people doing that.

I get that this community has other things to talk about, whether related to Naruto or not but the underlying foundation, NaruSaku, has all but disappeared no matter how dodgy the asspull is. I'm not saying the fandom has, but the hope for it has.

This site and the people here, are too big a part of my life for me to give up as easily as this, and those of us that remain should remain, but if you look at recent posts, they're all by the same group of people and rarely with the same variety of posters that used to grace this site.

My point wasn't that Naruto is the best or most important thing, or even anime. It's that Heaven & Earth isn't as active as it used to be, or as energetic. Even though we stayed together for other reasons, the reason we came here, the foundation of the website is the NaruSaku fandom. Kishi took that away... subsequently a lot of people stopped caring... about Naruto, about NaruSaku and eventually this site.

Sooo many people have simply stopped visiting this site, whether gradually like most or suddenly, it took about 2 months after the ass-pull ending and failed continuation, but it's happening quickly. Many people still consider themselves NaruSaku/Naruto fans, but whether or not this is true, almost none of them are active or care as much as they once did, they're simply giving up on Naruto. 

Many of you will object greatly, but first think about it, did you not go on this site for a while out of forgetfulness? Did you stop caring? Even if you don't fall into this category think about it? Do you care as much? If you do, remember many people don't care as much anymore. This isn't a recommendation or criticism, it's simply me pointing out the obvious (forgive me). 

I'm not speaking from some high and mighty position, I haven't posted in almost 3 weeks.

Even the remainder of people on the site don't care as much and are talking about other things.

I am NOT saying shut down the site or something as stupid as that, but remember this.

You are only allowed to post in this thread if you have more than 3 friends and all of them are as active as previously.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! My older brother just showed me the cover for the upcoming Naruto Movie and said that he knew I wouldn't stop talking about it, when I glared at him, he conveniently remembered what I'd told him about the ending and upcoming movie, and he, wisely, stopped talking.

Feel the way we do? Quite a lot are even more pissed off then we are, which is hard to believe but true.

Even if they ostracise the majority of their fanbase they'd still have enough to keep catering to their remaining fanbase, besides heaps of rational fans would still follow it to see where it goes.

The fact that they have to try to repair it proves that it's been ruined. Yes, everyone knows that but I just hope that SP and all supporters of the actual Naruto franchise, finally all get it.

Sorry I can't quote you, but they're mostly fan reviews although some are from neutral fans.Although some are official reviews, the official reviews are less direct and give it some criticism but not brutally honest raw truths.

May I point out that although the movie is clearly crappy with brutally honest reviews, it will definitely get a massive audience therefore putting money into the pockets of the fanfiction crew behind it.

1.Every self-proclaimed NaruHina and SasuSaku shipper will see it more than once and buy the DVD once it's released.

2.Most NaruSaku fans will watch it to see how bad it is, out of curiosity, simply to see Naruto and Sakura no matter how crappy and retcon they know it will be.

3.Every NaruHina/SasuSaku fan will get their friends to see it.

4.People who hear it's a good love story will go see it.People who hear it's a bad love story will go see it.

5.Neutrals in Naruto will go see it for some kind of ending.

6.Randoms who've heard of Naruto will go see it because it's both controversial and popular.

7.Everyone who speaks of it badly will merely be advertising it (like the Avatar:The Last Airbender movie).

8.A lot of otakus in Japan will go crazy therefore making the movie even more controversial and well known/heard of.

9.Naruto has a massive fanbase.

10.The last movie of anything gets a massive audience.

Summary-Kishi and his band will get a ridiculous amount of money for releasing a half-assed attempt at a movie, that's "supposedly" about Naruto.The more we revolt the fatter his wallet becomes.

Life sucks.      

I typed in "The Last:Naruto the Movie Reviews" into Google and all that's there is a bunch of news bulletins talking about all of the negative reviews it was getting both in Japan and the West.

The admins only get really annoyed when someone goes crazy or goes too far.They aren't going to give people warning points for saying that they don't like the ending or something.This forum is for everything Naruto and some stuff that aren't.If you think someone is crossing the line then report it, but only if they really went too far.

What do you mean it seems like the posts aren't being monitored?Pretty much every new post is checked within the hour.

Just because you don't realise that doesn't mean that they aren't checked.
