I'm sorry if there is already a thread about this, I searched but I found nothing.

 

I'm wondering how it's going on with the manga because it seems to be stopped since the 213th chapter.

Does someone have some info about it ?

Yeah, that's the most popular & long living theory. I mean Watanuki being Clow Reed's reincarnation.
 

I'm still a bit confused whether Rei takes place before or after the end of part I.

Yup that's how I see it.

It take place after part 1. You can say that Rei is the sequel.
I only read two or three chapter, so I don't really follow it.
Just hope that clamp in a good mood so they can finish their story.

I'm confused because back in the end of original holic the doumeki is shizuka's grandson right? But in the latest chapters of rei watanuki mentions himawari and doumeki ( which one though ) says she's at her place. So it's either she's very old lady ATM or current events are happening before the end of part I. Lol so confusing.

There's a sequel called xxxholic rei, which is currently on hiatus.
