There are a million and one ways Kishimoto could have developed his characters in a way that made sense, yet he chose to ruine them all, because he was just done with the series. ( hell even when he gave characters development, he would backtrack for plot's sake and outright ignore other characters, just because they could not be used as plot devices)

I think James is trying to say people judge without not showing there bias, and that it prevents the writers from getting deep into it. Pretty much the fans are what prevents the story from going with the flow and changing it all together; especially when a series gets extremely popular and becomes a franchise.
A lot of people meet complained about Wonder Women x Superman as a couple, and preferred her with Batman. And I do see Lois x Super as another NH. Of course they are not the exact copy, but there are similarities. Lois should have more other than being romantic support?
Anyway, people don't bother to try to wonder about Wonder Women x Superman like they don't bother with Narusaku. They don't need to ship it, but understand how we believe it fit into the story flow.
Not only that but for some reason only in the Naruto fandom people are willing to forgive any villain or flawed character with the exception of Sakura? I never meet a fandom that harbors such a hate for part 1 Sakura that they successfully manage to destroy her character overall. With The Last and NNS4, Sakura was reduced into a secondary character NH cupid. She doesn't even have any special movesets or significant moments in the Game, they removed all NS and SS moments, which shows you how much they lover her character (they don't need to like SS, but ch. 685 was important for Sakura's desire to help Sasuke, same with ch. 663 and her desire to help Naruto).
Yet in the Game during Naruto's death scene, they added filler of HINATA (not even Sasuke, and CC2/SP wanks SN to the bone) reaching out for Naruto's hand telling to not give up on your dreams.
Hinata also got a couple of Special movesets, with Naruto and the Hyuugas. I would have been fine if not for the fact we have nothing for Sakura. Even in adventure mode NH was present as well as a moment where Sakura/Ino were trash talking about Naruto while Hinata was supported him. CC2 just actually reverted Sakura back into her part 1 self! It was apparent in 693, 99, but in The Last, Sakura was still nice around Naruto. The game now has her pointing out all the bad kitten about him, and in the end just promote even more people to hating her.
James, is right, I never meet a fandom that would go so far for a secondary like Hinata, to the point where Sakura became a secondary. And sadly it won't be the last fandom.
I've seen a lot of GrayLu / Gruvia shippers on Hiro's account harassing them about which ship should be canon. I've also seen fans international and JP harass KyoAni because they choose to post a pic that was RinHaru. Also it was rumored how Kubo deleted his twitter because fans where harassing him about some character death? I know he deleted, and it involved twitter reaction, but I didn't know what. He made a new one, happily.
Fans can really be aggressive over ships and fav. Characters. Naruto so far is the only fandom where I ever experience death threats, depression, and headaches. But now Bleach is already head up there with there ship wars, and I'm already being harassed because I ship NaLi, even though I like NaLu, same with Free! with MS. It's no wonder why companies/ publishers appease to the majority...being in the minority is horrible.

Whoa, are you serious? The game did all that, just to give NH some substance? That's just wrong.

This is why the series is nothing but a joke, because those who work on Naruto are willing to destroy characters, for crappy pairings. How can anyone respect this, is beyond me.

Thank God I never cared for the games, cause they're almost, if not just as bad, as the anime.

Ah, so they haven't already planned that far ahead. I just hope they don't stretch other's IT dreams like this one.

Nice to know Kakashi is still as useless as ever, when it comes to mentoring the kids.

Hopefully, this is just another one volume manga. I mean, sure they got enough money to barely float by, but can they really affor to produce a multi-volume series? After all, no one cares for the new gen, just seeing their fave pairings more.

None of them bring anything new to the table, whether it be design or personality. So, who the hell should care about them, when they're nothing but recyclables?

I wonder if the Naruto from chapter one, would cry if he knew that he missed his dream coming true, because his kid got pissed that their toy was broken. Even worse, someone took his place and basked in all the acknowledgement he always wanted.

Guys why you blame SP ? Actually it was them who made many NS moment.  It not their fault Naruto end in time when Japanese fan-base saturated by massive romantic comedy genre.

SP are made up of multiple people, so while there were some who supported NS, like Kishimoto said in his interview where his wife hated the ending, there were the same if not more SP staff members who favored Hinata. Kishimoto never really seemed to care about Hinata at all, so that means those around him had to push for her to shine and since SP never hid the fact that they valued Hinata more than even Naruto, it easy to believe that they had a hand in ruining the series.

Anyway, I agree with tricksie, that even when NH was planned to be end game, he didn't try to push for it and just continued showing NS as the best outcome in terms of pairings.

It looks like the Russo brothers are characterizing Black Widow like they did in TWS, so I have a little more faith in the movie. I really wanna see some good battle scenes and nice characterization, eecially after dealing with AOU and Naruto the past year.

Well, when I think of pairing fodder, I kinda think about the girl just being casted aside for a majority of the series, never really making any impact on the story.

As for romantic subplot, it feels as if a character has a chance to at least grow with the MC and be there for them, because it's a plot point. It may be small, but the character can occur more than once every blue moon and they have a better shot at getting some development.

Sakura was clearly the romantic aspect of T7, but that didn't mean that was the only thing to her. Where as, once Hinata was turned into nothing but pairing fodder, any little info we got on her in part one, was completely dismissed in place of nothing but feelings for Naruto.

She indeed look up to him.
But It still love or any form of it.
It's like sakura, ino, and Karin love to sasuke and naruto love to sakura.

I just don't agree that Hinata, Sakura, and Ino felt real love, because they knew nothing about the guys they liked. At least, Naruto admitted that he didn't fully understand why he liked Sakura, until he got to interact with her a bit more and learn her feelings, which were a watered down version of his, when it came to wanting acknowledgement. From there on, their interactions, while on T7 only served to water his blossoming feelings for her and vice versa.

I will say that Hinata had a good reason to like Naruto, given that he had a strength she didn't, but realistically, she only talked to him a few short times over YEARS of meeting each other. So, her confessing she loves him, without even believing in him or caring about his dream, or knowing the hardships he went through, which shaped him, makes her feelings feel just as shallow as Sakura's.

Fan art only show how hypocritical SS/NH fans are, cause they scream all about canon, yet ignore all the problems that canon states theirs pairings have, like Sasuke not showing affection for Sakura and always leaving home, Naruto working long hours instead of being home with his family, and the fact that both women are nothing but housewives, with no ambitions of their own.

All their fanfics and fanarts of happy SS/NH families are just as fanon as our own, that have NS or SK together, because canon doesn't support either.

So, Hinata was the first person to notice Naruto? Okay, but if she was the first person to notice him, that means she saw him suffering, that means she knew he had absolutely nobody at that point and was treated like dirt for no known reason, yet she still chose to do NOTHING for him.

Naruto's world was still dark even after he had Iruka, so it must have been even worse without him, but Hinata was not willing to step out of her comfort zone in order to help someone she supposedly loved. Great bases for a relationship.

At least it's nice to know that somebody gave kishimot hell for his crappy ending.

Just for Karin's IT dream. It's like how whenever Hinata has a filler, something about her feelings for Naruto will be featured.

So out of curiousity, what do you guys think of SaiIno? Do you find it as bad as Nh or SS?

I just don't think Sai should have been with anyone. He was more asexual than Sasuke and had spent most of his life under Danzo's control. I just can't see him in a romance, based on what the manga showed, and since Kishimoto showed no development for SaiXIno's relationship, it's just as out of nowhere as ChoujiXKarui.
