Speaking of paralyzing...you can put a shark in a docile, catatonic state by flipping them upside down suddenly. For some sharks you have to rub their nose or belly. Maybe if they had done that to Kisame he wouldn't have bitten his tongue and died so they could get more info out of him.

But I don't think biting your tongue like that would kill you instantly. There would be a lot of blood loss though, but I think it would take a little while and be extremely painful. I think it's more likely he'd pass out from the pain before he died. But that's just my opinion.

^ Not instantly, but there should be enough time for the others to at least attempt to stop the bleeding. There must be a medic-nin on that island to keep an eye on everyone's health, since they were expecting Naruto and Bee to be staying there a while.

I hope this chapter isn't crappy as it sounds. Kishi flushed my favorite fish down the toilet. My guess is Kishi is anxious to get back to Sasuke and have him use a EMS test run Kabuto or something.

I don't think Madara is planning to backstabbed Kabuto.....yet. He needs man power to capture the remaining jinchurikkis as well as the sealing using Gedo Mazo and Kabuto is the only one to provide him that with the dead Akatsuki members as well as other people from the death that he can bring.

It isn't the first time Kishimoto has used it as a plot device though, Inari's mother (i remember now her name was Tsunami) threatened to bite her tongue and drown on the blood if the rogue samurai hurt Inari way back in the Land of the Waves

I can imagine that if there's an anti Kisame FC on NF that they've had a slight name change, like 'Hold onto your tongues! The Anti Hoshigaki Kisame FC' or something along those lines.

Well and anyway they should have wrote that Kisame attempted suicide since it takes a long time to bleed to death from a severed tongue. There's no way he just drops dead in this coming chapter.

It's not really so much as bleeding to death. He can actually sufficate from something like that. Also, he won't be able to talk.
