Bold: Ummm....so you tell me there is a reason why they are biased by....giving me no reason at all outside of "Because I said so."

I am going to assume you are a major Goku fanboy. Which I guess it is fine, but blind fandom makes people ignore facts. Just like how NH fans ignore 90% of the facts in the manga because they love Hinata so much.You should know this.

I am a hardcore Superman fan and been a fan of Superman a long time. Everything that they showed in the two videos is exactly what has happened and they backed it up with actual comic book pages. Superman has done things that Goku cannot even fathom and they didn't even show half the things Superman can do.

I am also a Dragonball Z fan....maybe not as much as Superman, but I certainly have seen the series and watch it: which by the way the series has become majorly outrageous and kind of been losing the meaning of the spirit of DBZ now. Remember when Goku actually trained for his power and wasn't just holding hands? Pepperidge farm remembers.

So like I do with everyone else, I will give you a shot to prove to me that Goku can beat Superman and what Superman's powers did they "exaggerate." Keep in mind, I do have panel proof of every power Superman has.

Not like Dragonball Z fanboys exaggerated GOku's powers: cough "He can destroy the universe in three punches" cough

Just to throw this out there. I do believe Saitama can beat Goku as well. Just saying.

 

Hinata beating anyone at this point is ridiculous since she can;t beat anyone in her own universe let alone a crossover.

Although, the idea of Saitama slapping Hinata to death is kind of appealing to me......what? I am sorry, I have no respect for Naruto characters. I know it sounds bad, but I can;t help how I feel. Kishimoto just ruined it all for me.
 

 

Every hero character starts like this.

Superman, Batman, and even Spider-Man.

Does anyone remember the original Spider-Man comics? Peter Parker was a massive jerk when he got his powers AND he thought he was unbeatable. That is until Gwen Stacy died and it shook him to the core. That was the point. When Gwen died it taught him that he is not perfect despite his powers and no matter how smart he is, he can make dumb mistakes....and yet, people will praise Spider-Man like no tomorrow.

Problem is, people are so busy selectively looking at the wrong stuff.

Oliver Queen, Batman, and even the Flash are much worse in the TV Series and movies than they actually are in the comics. Flash keeps making the same mistakes by reversing time to try and "fix" the past even though several people, including other Flashes, told him not only it is a bad idea, but you're making things worse.

Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow, is also making the same mistakes over and over and doesn't learn.

Batman is getting dumber as well. Remember how he is called the "world's greatest detective?" Well, when was the last time he actually did some "detective" work. Recently, both Superman and Cyborg have been doing more work over him and yet Batman gets the credit somehow.

However, all this proves is not that the character is boring, but the writers don't have creativity anymore. They keep using the same tricks over and over again.

They are as bad as Kishimoto when portraying these characters properly. I mean, how many times can they use the same problem to hype up drama?

Instead, now every character says: "Boo hoo, my lover/friend/parents were killed. I am going to mope around forever until some random person tries to tell me off only to repeat the same mistakes when it happens again."

Remember when heroes used to be "heroic?"

This is why One Punch Man is such a breath of fresh air. It may be satire, but it is going back to the roots of real Super heroes.

Still waiting for the hinata fanboys or fans in general to say she can beat hulk and doomsday and darkseid when she couldn't even last 10 seconds against them and that's being generous. And darkseid has a one hit kill with his omega beams. Or hulk doing to hinata did to Loki in the first avengers movie toward the end with the puny God thing only switch it to puny hyuga.

No, 10 seconds is a miracle. 1 second is being generous  

This sums up the pairings and all Post ending interviews with Kishkittens perfectly. It is shallow and will ALWAYS be shallow. The pairings are shallow, the story is shallow, his reasoning is shallow, and I'm sure his wife and kids think, nay, KNOW he is shallow at this point. Not because of him making this atrocious ending or these garbage pairings but that  he would not stick up for his true intentions and ideas when it REALLY mattered. Instead of giving IN to the hatred of Sakura, why didn't he even bother making her a proper heroine? By that I meant he had the proper components for her set up, but he needed to 1) make her aproper fighter that could stand her ground with her OP teammates and not regress to a cheerleader like the rest of the K11, fighting off Fodder, and 2) GET RID OF HER SELFISH FRAILTY AND LACK OF GRIT/ MORAL CHARACTER in front of "Sasuke-kyunn!!!!!" Does he even know WHY Sakura is so hated and little girls say they will never look to his Sakura as a role model? Because he made her into a shallow ideal that a girl must worship and be in love with a "hot guy" for no reason than other than that he is a "hot guy" It must be indoctrinated in Sakura that she must be inlove with Sasuke for his hot looks and not his personality (which by the way is practically non-existent) and his lack of care for her. Even little girls know that you you genuinely wouldn't love a boy if he treated you like kitten and emotionally abuses you (WHICH BY the way there are several examples of that prominent in the manga itself) On top of trying to kill you. to any true fan that sees this abuse for what it truly is, Sakura is insane and emotionally needy then apparently, in contrast to how she feels with Naruto which is independent, willful and free to speak her mind which is an equal relationship.

The biggest irony here is that Sakura was actually supposed to be "deconstructing" the "wanting the bad boy" trope. But she got with him anyway which made the message fall flat, and deserve to be a punch line in a joke.   

She doesn't even have the big kittens going for her anymore!   At least in the manga

REALLY? He said that? I was under the impression that  a love triangle meant that there was neutral development for all parties and that either love interest was validly compatible with the one in the middle. Plus Hinata was shoehorned in last minute because of all the beta males jacking off to her passive, submissive personality and scorned women using her as a self insert for their crushes on nice guy gone wrong. Am I right?

Oh Side note* but is it not  SO SEXIST that he's is making excuses as for why these two female characters are with their current husbandos and nothing ELSE? Most prominently why he WASTED Sakura's potential as a character, or if ANY of this BS was true, why didn't he make Hinata more prominent in the story if that was the intention. What? Is he copying the  Bulma, Chichi formula?  THAT IS AN INSULT TO DRGAON BALL

I have VERY FEW problems with Fairy Tail overall. I love the story and the fights are well done. It's only the a-pull outcomes for SOME of these fights that bothers me, prominently Erza's, but does that mean I hate the series? No. Do I hate Erza? No. I love the series and Erza is one of my favourite characters but I acknowledge the fact that some things are not so well planned out for the fights, because that is using my logic. I don't follow something blindly without acknowledging it's flaws, and if there are flaws I don't notice but are pointed out by someone else I can either agree with it or at least try to understand their point of it. Remember though "making sense" of a story need not be only applying things realistically, but also whether or not it fits the context, rules, and set up of the story itself.

Who's to say she won't? Infact the way this has set up, I wouldn't be surprised if defeating Acnogolia fell on her shoulders, actually if Hiro-sensie had set up the history properly, it would have made perfect sense , afterall who better to defeat the most powerful Dragon slayer turned dragon than the only known child of the slayer turned dragon, the daughter of the very first dragon slayer in fact, the person who inadvertently gave the world the ability to make Dragon Slayers in the first place.

 

If the back story had been set up properly, with the hints put in place from the beginning, the potential of Erza vs Acnologia and Natsu vs Zeref would be exciting but the way it's done just would not go so well and wold just give haters more reason to hate.

Well she hasn't YET, so yes, don't hold your breath.

as for the backstory of her being not foreshadowed and being an a-pull, yes one could say that. BUT one could also say it doesn't matter because Erza didn't have a backstory to explore from before she was taken from Rosemary village.

But people were taught to be that way much more back then. Being chivalrous to the point that you won't let women try to fight for themselves might offend some women nowadays, but it isn't quite sexist. Jumping in front of a bullet for a woman because her precious skin shouldn't be damaged doesn't deserve such criticism. If men are that way, so be it. Some women will be attracted to it. Others won't. Sexist is flying around as much as racist is recently, and most of the time is is out of context. Such powerful words being used left and right for almost anything.

 

As for Sanji being all over every woman. He doesn't even touch them. It's an anime. Every shonen has that one guy who loves women A LOT and is that way for comedy. Should we hate Master Roshi and Jiraiya next?

I repeat. If that "era" or "time" thing was a valid excuse, there would be MORE men acting like Sanji, and Sanji would not be an exception to have that "men must treat women like goddesses, and let them trample over you to not get their shoes dirty" mentality, many more males must be acting like that. Zorro, Ussop , Franky and even Luffy must act like that for that to be believeable.  Do I  see ANY OTHER man behaving this way?

By the way, that sort of thinking is sexist to men too you know. to have that exception that you must sacrifice yourself for a woman and their dignity is more important you and your life and health is degrading to a man because it implies your life isn't as valuable, and the only way for a woman to fall for you is putting down men. So Women need equality and to break out from gender stereotypes but men can't? that is double standards there.

 

They are adorable, I love them together so much. They also make me think of my Husband and I in high school. This was around the late 90's and that's when we were both really into DBZ. We even cosplayed as the Great Saiyaman 1 and 2 for Halloween. After that he got himself the nick name Gohan

A lot of you are talking about the same thing but I'll just quote and respond to this post.

 

If you look at most of nH fans you can tell that they didn't  see many of anime or have an understanding of their tropes, at the time of watching Naruto. Hell they barely watched most of the other anime that came to the states since: Dragonball, Rounin Kenshin, Spirit Detective, and many other had Tsudere as the love interest. Even some current anime on toonami have a Tsudere as the love interest.

 

Now the reason they fell in love with Hinata and why they are obsessed with moe characters is simple, they have never seen them before. Most media in the western world would be hanged to death if it portrayed any woman in a manner similar to Hinata. But Tsudere-like characters are very common in modern media despite anime fans in the US complaints about them. Now I keep mentioning it but why do nH fans hate one type of woman but love the other? Because Tsudere-like characters remind them of all the girls that either ignore them, reject them, or just want to be friends. While moe characters are their ideal woman that will love them unconditionally, worship the ground they walk on, and basically do what ever they say without complaint. So seeing a female that they have never seen anywhere else and fulfilled their desires to make sure they never get rejected by a woman, causing them to become obsess with hinata hoping that if she got Naruto they may find their own hinata.

 

Edit: Also once again because of the difference between how US media and Japanese media portray woman also had a effect on how they like the ending. In short once a girl get married in any in Japanese media it is expected that she quit her job and focus on being a house wife. Also she should get married as quickly as possible because a woman passed 25 is consider a Christmas cake (spinster) in Japan. While in the US It doesn't matter to woman in media if she is single, has one kid, or a dozen kids if kickass once she must always kickass. So while they are happy their pairing happened they are upset that being the hokage wife made her a housewife instead of into a badass (also they became enrage once she lost her huge breast). While in japan they were confused that nH and SS happened (and hoped for the best) they were fine with them becoming housewives.

To sum it up, NH fans are mostly beta males and scorned women  with no real anime knowledge
