I'm bored, and I need writing practice. So, respond to this topic with 1) a keyword, phrase, setting, or piece of dialog, and 2) whether you want it to take place during part one or part two, and I will write you a 100 word naru/saku drabble.

“So,” he says, grabbing the back of his neck and grinning proudly, “you gonna tell me why you keep staring?”

Sakura blushes, but does not say anything. Naruto knows damn well why she is staring, but tormenting her is half the fun.

“I thought you were supposed to be a social retard when it comes to these . . . these,” she searches for the right word, “ . . . situations.”

“Now why would that be,” he says, stepping closer, toes almost touching, lips and soft breaths inches apart. “Ero-senin is my teacher after all.”

Sakura blushes some more.

It wasn’t that Naruto was particularly proud of his actions, he was however, rather smug with the outcome.

“Naruto, you suck!” was the common phrase uttered, followed by many moans and groans of the wanna-be ninja students.

“Now class,” Iruka says sternly, “if Naruto would learn to behave better, this wouldn’t be happening.”

But it was all worth it, because there was one pink haired girl who secretly did not mind the extra work his actions caused. And watching her face light up as she diligently dove into the task to be completed was the best part of his day.

It’s a well known fact that team seven’s first C class mission happened to be the first time Naruto ever stepped out of the village. So when the genin team has a mission to a country full of snow, Sakura curses herself for not realizing that Naruto would go ballistic.

To calm him down, Sakura decides to launch a tightly packed snowball aimed directly for his head. Her aim is uncanny.

“Ouch! Sakura-chan! What was that for!?” he screams.

“It’s called a snowball, dummy. You throw them at people for fun,” she says smarty, almost winking.

Naruto’s grin increases tenfold.

Hope you all enjoy! These were fun to write.

His breath is wet and shallow, but he is still standing.

Sakura is crying over a downed Sasuke. It makes Naruto’s heart cringe because he knows Sasuke will be fine.

“Naruto,” she is calling his name. He looks over at her tear stained cheeks. “Naruto, please,” There is something in her eyes that he has never seen before, something reserved only for him.

“Don’t worry Sakura-chan,” he says, with renewed optimism, “we will get out of this forest alive and we will become Chuunins!”

He turns to his adversary, tainted with sweat and blood.

“Do not underestimate me,” he breathes.

The red glow of the alarm clock is flashing 6:00am. The numbers look like evil eyes, patronizing and mocking her.

Time to get up.

Sleepy eyed and groggy, Sakura edges off the bed but stops abruptly as a muscular arm snakes around her slender waist.

“Where do you think you’re going?” says a deep, gruff voice.

“Work,” she says, decisively.

“Nu-uh. Uzumaki house rules: no one gets up before nine.”

He pulls her back to the bed, back into his warm embrace, and that is when Sakura realizes that sometimes it does not pay to get up in the morning.

Title: Chemicals React

The first time they truly met was during some obscure mission to some obscure little country. Sakura was engrossed in describing a certain chemical process pertinent to the mission.

“But,” Naruto was utterly confused, and Sakura had to admit he looked adorable with the big doofy expression on his face.

Then it clicked, “Oh, I get it! Sakura-chan, you’re the best teacher ever!”

His comment, and the sparkle in his eyes took Sakura completely out of her element. She wasn’t sure why or how, but for some reason she felt like she was truly meeting Naruto for the first time.

She’s a green eyed vixen, full of pearls and grace, and Naruto can barely keep his hands off of her.

She usually bats him away with ease, (read: punches him across the room) but sometimes she’s coy and lets him wrap an arm around her shoulder or waist.

“So,” she purrs coolly, “are you going to take me out for some ramen?” Naruto is a little stunned by the statement, but it takes a lot more than that to surprise the number one unpredictable ninja in Konoha.

“Why Sakura-chan,” he replies with similar composure, “I thought you would never ask.”

I am glad everyone is enjoying these drabbles. Please, continue requesting.

His kisses are like him: loud, immature, annoying, wet and sloppy.

Most of the time, this gets on Sakura’s nerves. She yells at him, asking him why he can’t kiss like a normal person.

His reaction is always the same profound rhetorical phrase that pisses her off even more. “Because I am me, Sakura-chan!” He grins like a fool and she resists the urge to smack him senseless.

She tries to deny it through this behavior, but for some reason, whenever he kisses her, her knees weaken and her mind floats away, refusing to come back down from could nine.

When her breath returns to her and her heart is no longer racing, she slides down from atop him to snuggle at his side.

“That,” she starts, spying a copy of Icha-Icha Paradise on his bed stand, “is the single most trashiest romance novel ever. I know he is your sensee and all, but why do you even have a copy of that laying around?”

“Oh,” he breathes raggedly through the hugest grin possible, “so you’re an expert on trashy romance novels?”

“That’s not- I meant- ERRAAAGHHH!” Sakura desperately hopes Naruto doesn’t notice the huge blush creeping over her cheeks.

I'm gonna close off the requests now, seeing how it will take me forever and a day to respond to them. Thanks to everyone who put in a request, this has been fun!
