Here it is, if anyone's interested:

http://www.narutospo...en-episode-234/

Well that was certainly a surprise. What at first seemed like just another goofball episode suddenly took a rather serious turn.

I really liked Moegi's speech to Konohamaru, mostly because what she said was so very true. I also liked Tsunade's flashbacks about Nawaki and how they sort of (once again) transitioned over to Naruto at the end.

The only thing I thought was rather strange was Temari's behaviour, especially what she said about Naruto. I mean, didn't she acknowledge Naruto way back in the "Rescue Gaara" arc. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't dwell on it too much. This is only a filler after all.

Oh yeah and Sakura was cool too, even though she was only there for a couple of minutes. cool.gif

but temari....is a little weird....? shes not that harsh....i mean naruto helped save her brother!!! XD come on!!

Good filler, we saw the genin of the Leaf Village are actually good, and that Naruto's student wants to protect the "King".

^lol on animenewsnetwork.com they had the title as "The Pink Kunoichi" so when I read that I totally thought it was going to be about Sakura but alas it's not it's about some random kunoichi.

Anyways.... it looks like the next 3 weeks are still going to be fillers.

Wow, we're going to be into November and still in filler mode. Guess I'm only left with the option of hoping for a return to the plot by new year. Seems logical and plausible!

If every that chick is in the upcoming spoiler where to ask Naruto why he was rufusing her, and he maybe said he already had someone he liked! then maybe...a Narusaku hint? ~_^ well that is a bit farfetched...but it would be AWESOME if the filler animators would take of their Hinata stained glasses for a sec and gave us a Narusaku moment! To be honest, this was probably my favorite episode in this filler arc so far.
Click if you care what I thought... --Click here to view--
First, it kind of answered something I've been curious about for a while. Konohamaru hasn't appeared in the war thus far, and I can't remember if Kishi ever addressed it. I know he's just a genin, but considering that Konoha was saved by a genin earlier, I'd think Tsunade would bend the rules for him. Especially considering Konohamaru's gotta be heaps stronger than most of the fodder nin that seem to make up the Alliance. So I'm glad the anime did an episode on him trying to join the fight, but realizing he's needed more back in Konoha.

The Konohamaru fight was pretty cool. It seems like he's a mix of Naruto and the Third Hokage in combat (he used Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu against Temari), and maybe a little bit of Asuma thrown in there (I can't remember if that Ash Cloud technique was the same one Asuma used on Hidan/himself or if that was something else). It's a pretty cool mix, since he has Naruto's personality and determination, while at the same time seems to have a bit of the Sarutobi genius. I wouldn't be surprised if he learned Rasengan even faster than Naruto did, though I guess I don't really know for sure, since I can't remember how long Naruto was training in Toad World.

I also really enjoyed Moegi's speech and her flashback to the Pein Invasion. It was very emotional, and really helped put some perspective into that arc. I suppose we saw quite a bit of how horrible the attack was in the manga, but seeing a kid with his leg stuck in a rock with a giant centipede nearby really helped capture the emotion of that arc, at least IMO.
Also, I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to honorifics, so I thought I'd point some of those out, LOL. I saw Konohamaru and his friends refer to both Sakura and Shikamaru as "nee-chan". I thought that was kind of funnny, but I'm guessing it has to do with them addressing Naruto's close friends the same way they address him (big brother/sister). Maybe there's another story to that though.
I also noticed how Konohamaru and Moegi address each other for the first time. Moegi refers to him as "Konohamaru-chan", while Konohamaru addresses her without any honorific. It's like reverse Naru/Saku, LOL. tongue.gif

Heh heh, that's what I'm hoping for too. Though the preview made it seem like it meant "Kunoichi from Pink Village" or something. But I suppose it's not impossible for Naruto to think of Sakura (or Hinata, grrr) at the thought of marrying his filler fiance. But we'll see, I guess I'm not getting my hopes up for anything pairing related.

In all asian cultures, they call someone older than them big brother or sister. And if their old enough, uncle or aunt. In their own respective languages of course.

Yup, that's pretty much about it. He's also slightly more talented than Naruto, that's for sure tongue.gif . One other thing that I noticed is that Konohamaru basically has 5-6 different mentors in his life in this episode. That's the same amount Naruto has had so far. With so many different mentors, it's no wonder he appeared so strong. It also adds more versatility to his arsenal.

Konohamaru's talent seems to lie in the fact that he only needs to see a jutsu several times and study the theory behind it and BAM!! the kid's got it down pat. That takes a bit of talent to pull off. The one thing that would've made the fight even sweeter is him summoning Enma, a taijutsu battle against Temari would've been awesome, but I suppose that's stretching it a bit.

Maybe a tiny bit- but nowhere nearly as badly as they often overblow Sakura's tsundere behavior. The mean parts was Temari acting out her battle persona- we saw that in the Chunin exams in part 1, remember. (Some fans tend to forget that darker side of Temari's personality- a bit of a cruel streak she sometimes indulges in battle, to throw her opponent off) I could tell they were having Temari saying those words just to get Konohamaru stirred up- for Temari it was a sparring session. Shikamaru wanted to instill a bit of caution in Konohamaru, so put a little scare into him about how "cruel" Temari is. Temari happily played along because she enjoys having that reputation.
