That is true my friend. I never expected Rin and Kushina to have died same day (different year of course), and it's great to know Naruto is gonna be turning 17. I definitely sense a NaruSaku moment coming up really soon.
No that's a mistranslation. Original chinese text says Minato and Kushina, Obito never mentioned Rin, I read the chinese text coz I'm Chinese myself.

wait wait... this about rin and kushina who has died on the same day (with different year) isn't confirmed... but I'm pretty sure that it's just a mistranlation from chinese readers... In the orginal Obito should have said "it's the anniversary of minato and Kushina's death... the day where your parents died"...
