#977624 Boruto: The NeverEnding Prologue Chapter 43

Posted by Bryon_Konoha_Ninja on Today, 01:18 AM

I'm still seeing the parallels of Sarada and Karin being related (ahem, daughter and mother!)  Why doesn't anyone admit that Sakura just adopted Sarada because of reasons instead of catering to SS?!

SP likely not wanting the illusion that this is seen as what EVERYONE wanted to be shattered even if theres the daft NH and SS fans know for a damn fact the only reason they fight us so hard is because they know they actually dont have anything to fall on as well as knowing that they won because of pity. And to milk the Naruto franchise. At least Dragon Ball didnt ruin itself to this extent when it became Dragon Ball Z.

They say kids will exhibit parental behaviors even if they have never been with one of the parents and I am convinced Salad is Karin's kid. 1000%

Oh yeah!

 I mean, is he wrong?

NOPE! Sarada shows she has a hell of a tongue on her when it comes to insults, she can be very intelligent as well as observant, and she also tends to sometimes be vain to the levels Karin is, but still can be more motivated to want to save the people she cares about. So it makes perfect sense she's Karin's daughter, regardless of the lies that we're fed to make us believe that she's Sakura's biological daughter.

Which means that it is not about character tropes. It is not about Hinata's shyness our loyalty. It is NOTHING, but BS. It is only the lies they make to justify their obvious favoritism. Hinata can be any type of character and they will still love her. Kishimoto has exposedthis bias when he made Road to Ninja switching the personalities and they still favored HInata over Sakura.

Hinata abused Naruto and threatens to kill Sakura while acting like a slut? "OMG, look how independent she is."

NH and SS did NOT deserve the victory they got and secretly, I think they know it too. They know that what they have is garbage and this is why they always repeat the same arguments.

Like I told that one Hinata fanboy
"13,728 pages and all you remember of Hinata 1 incident she had?"

The bolded part is SO dead on, James! It's why they keep doing it because they know they just got their "win" out of pity. And that they just want us to feel defeated when we feel invigorated in a lot of ways 'cause I believe we know we were meant to win, and because of their "win", they're more desperate, which is why you gotta go for the blows that matter.

I guess the question comes into play,

has Kishi improved, or is it another red herring in his latest series Samurai 8?

For anyone who is curious,  Samurai 8 has only got 38 chapters so less than 50.

Something tells me this is a fakeout of some kind. Maybe he's gotten better, but i dunno, and I'm hesitant to give him the benefit of the doubt after how he ****** us over in Naruto!

Bottom line is,  you reach a certain point where it goes too far in Sakura's case for Sasuke where he didn't care until literally the last minute, and the same thing can be said about Naruto's connection to Hinata too. That's particularly why I love the relationship between Naruto and Sakura because that to me is accurate when it comes to love.

I know what you mean, Chi. I read your whole comment and with your friend, I was thinking "For real?" with what he was trying to get at. And that's the rub with NaruHina and SasuSaku, as well as the big difference between NH and NS. The fact NS actually, REALLY has a connection because of the growth both have, and Sakura letting go of her preconceived notions of how Naruto is, as well as seeing how bad Sasuke is for her, and how he doesn't really care about her the way Naruto does, and when he does show it a lot of times, it's only for HIS benefit, like when he complimented Sakura's Genjutsu skills before the Chunin Exams.

Oh I have something to say about that since I've recently experienced that, but I haven't been in the right mind to do so because of it.

Feel free to let it out, we're here to listen

The famous Tsunade drop kick comes back in Sakura's arsenal! (Low key, it should hit Hinata!)

So this is the Legendary Heel Drop/Painful Sky Leg: Sakura Version. Cherry Blossom Heel?? Like Sakura has her Cherry Blossom Impact?

Also chiyo one arm was rendered useless from the iron sand so her using Sakura as a puppet was really all she could do and it's not like Sakura was useless in that fight her and chiyo did equal work. Plus Sakura also found a cure for sasori poison something he had to remember the dosage has hinata done anything like that.

Yeah. Chiyo even said that Tsunade was only one of the few who could make an antidote for Sasori's poison, while Sakura was able to figure it out thanks to her training under Tsunade, and also her own brilliant intellect too.

That's why she has anger issues now talking about Sasuke.

And Naruto drinks. He drinks and is never home. That's how Naruto copes.

Honestly, I wonder how many guys on this forum have ever experienced being truly in love with a girl only to have that girl want to be with a guy that treats her awful?

I know some girls will say "well, just because a guy is nice does not mean we owe them anything" and this is true, but here is the thing....IT GOES BOTH WAYS. Just because you are nice to a guy and offer your deepest affection does not mean he owes you anything, but apparently they don't understand this.

Kishimoto said it himself: "Sasuke deals with it by not being home."

Keep reading the interviews and you realize that everything he did...from SS and NH, to pushing Hinata to the forefront, to so much more. He did because he was told that that is what the fandom wanted. That is what was popular and look now...

You know, it is one thing for Kishimoto to be like that. It is another when this is truth of why everything occurred and Hinata fanatics still believe something different.

I also think when Sarada asked Sakura if she and Sasuke were really married, she was mad about the idea too that her supposed daughter (sure she raised her, but she isn't Sarada's mom, no matter what's said, Karin is since she has the umbilical cord AND DNA tests can be pretty damn accurate) had the gall to do that and just doesn't like to be reminded she didn't really "win" Sasuke, just like how she lost Naruto just because she didn't think deep down (if you ask me) she "deserved" him for hurting him. SO WHAT?!!

NaruSaku maybe cliche but you know what? Cliches are not always bad. As long as a couple have chemistry it doesn't matter if it is Cliche.

Exactly! That's how I feel too about couples if you're gonna do romance in stuff, Ken. Even if it comes off cliché, who gives a **** if the couple done has chemistry?

You know, I'm slightly blown away by how simple and effective that argument is.

"But NS was a sibling relationship and Sakura always loved Sasuke!"... Because that REALLY MAKES SENSE to write your manga that way!

The throwing away or destroying something you are frustrated by is a really childish impulse. I wish he didn't do that but what other explanation is there?.

The only reason it was done is due to Kishimoto letting his grief get to him as well as probably pressure from Studio Pierrot, even if we don't know ALL the deets.

Also, that whole NaruSaku having a sibling relationship thing didn't hold water initially, given we saw Sakura was showing some signs of possible romantic feelings for Naruto due to his actions, like with Zabuza, or how she smiled when she learned that Naruto saved her from Gaara, not Sasuke like she initially thought.

I guess, but no matter what a writer should never just abandon his work like that. If need be, use it to express your grief, but never abuse it like you're a drunk father beating their child who just wanted some attention.

We, as the fans, deserved better than that.

I hear that. I feel deep down that that's what the death song for Naruto as a series and such was was when he lost his dad and that led him to just give in, rather than to focus like you said.

And where an "assassination technique" is bright, loud, and leaves one wide open for counterattack regardless of whether it hits or not.

Yeah, no ****. Chidori/Lightning Blade anyone? Speed of it not withstanding, it's like "How the hell is this an assassination Jutsu...??"

I see two problems with Sakura's character/story and why people didn't like her.

First, her story never gets finished. She has as good arc and is an active part of Team 7, all the way up through the 'thank you' hug scene in Shippuden. But after that, her story completely flatlines. There is no more growth, no more challenge. Her confession? Just a plot device to move Naruto along after Sasuke. It changed nothing for either Naruto or Sakura. Kishimoto leaves Sakura with all the desperation and bad decisions and scuttled confession, and never writes her learning from it, or there being a positive outcome. Sakura is never shown turning Naruto's head. He still is as focused on Sasuke as ever, until the very end. Sakura's story is never finished.

Second, Sakura will forever be unfairly compared to Hinata. Not compared to the best version of what her own character could have been, as the single heroine and love interest of the story. Though it didn't start out this way, by the end, Sakura's character is placed in stark comparison to Hinata's character, over and over and over again. And there is literally not enough about Hinata to even dislike. Hinata's whole sick focus is on Naruto. And she is rewarded for that. Kishimoto draws her in flattering, wide-eyed poses, and she is constanly shown as fearful/worried and needing to be saved. Even her brief flashes of bravery are tied to Naruto somehow. She is shown as the damsel in distress, and she is given pretty speeches about how great Naruto is when she is saved. Every friggin time. Sakura gets none of this treatment. Even though she is braver, more heroic, more kind-hearted and would literally die to save Naruto (not trip over a rock).

I don't think the problem is with Sakura. If you took Hinata out of the story (which literally wouldn't change the story a bit), then there is no one else for Sakura to be compared to. And her efforts would shine out like they should. But instead, Kishimoto put a big red arrow  flashing "love interest" over Hinata and gave her sappy lines only adoring Naruto over everything and everyone else (including her dead cousin), and people fell for it.

:goodjob:  Damn, girl, talk about being on point!! And I feel too that that really is a shame Sakura is always like that.
