Does anyone remember this disney movie back in 2005? If so then whats your opinion on it?

I also heard this movie was suppose to have 4 sequals and in those sequals the mc and the gang would have faught a villian that gets stronger every movie and by the last movie there was gonna be a villian that could destroy the galaxy. The writers also dont seem to like the hero getting the girl trope that much and want to subvert it by subsequent films. I did see some forshadowing towards that in the first movie and one of the producers did confirm that will the mc and layla the female love interest would not be canon for to long. The childhood friends to lovers trope isn't written as you typically see in other series.

I seen it. It's a pretty decent flick. It's way better than other Disney Teen live action movies.

Of course I watched it!!!!! It is one of my all time favourite disney live action films. Not to mention it is of a similar premise and concept to BnHA

Kinda glad that they didn't do these sequels then because I like that he ended up with the plant girl.

yeah,  :ermm:  this was the original idea.

  • Sky High was originally conceived as a series of four movies, one for each of Will and his friends' years of high school. It's known that the threat level of the villains would increase with each movie, with the characters saving the school in the first, the city in the second, the world in the third, then the entire universe in the fourth. One of these villains, likely the second, would've been the hinted-at Greater-Scope Villain Baron Battle, father to Will's friend and rival Warren. The sequels would also advance the Romance Arc, with Will and Layla breaking up and Layla getting together with Warren; whether Will would've received a new love interest is unknown. Alas, Disney deemed the original, which made twice its budget, still not a big enough hit to take a chance on three sequels.

The bad news is i heard the directors are now considering to make the sequals now.

Eh, she did bond with Warren, but only because she was venting to him about Will. I mean if that happened, but in the end she got back together with Will then I'd be okay with that. I like break ups and then reconciliations in romances.

Its strange that the original movie trailer had layla leaning in for a kiss but the final cut had will grabing layla then kissing her.

I haven't seen this movie in a long time, but I have literally nothing but positive memories about it.
