It's not 1.48 Billion, that is RtN, We don't know what the Last is right now but it managed 515Million in it's first two days, this week will probably put it at around 800MillionYen, but that's just a random guess.

You know, even JK Rowling let Hermione ends up with Ron because that's what she wrote, that's what she developed, although she planned Hermione for Harry. Writers. What do I know about your mind?

 

With Rowling, it's a bit different.  She had planned Hermione/Ron in the beginning, and stuck to that plan despite the way the characters grew together in the later books, as "wish fulfillment."  Hermione was her self insert character.  Ron was based off an old childhood friend of hers.  I think her editors wanted Harry/Hermione because it had a huge fandom, but she said no and stuck to her guns.  Unlike Kishi....  Her acknowledgment of it later was that she could, with some distance from the series, see why people like Harry/Hermione so much, but the way she wrote Ron and Hermione's interactions in the series it was pretty clear (to me, at least) how she envisioned the story ending. 

 

I had picked out Ron/Hermione as the endgame couple by the 2nd book.  It was solidified for me by the 4th book.  I was surprised it didn't go any further until the last book.  I was  VERY surprised by Harry/Ginny, which kind of came out of left field.  Now there's a pity ship if there ever was one....  But it served a very important purpose, by allowing Ron to truly become Harry's brother (in-law) and by giving Harry the huge comfortable family he'd always wanted.

They have been boasting about it actually. The Last carried a lot of weight and momentum in its buildup with the promotions and the gimmick of being the final movie in the series (although we now know that it's not the case). 

Uh what, the only they have been boasting about is how  "it's critically acclaimed", which we all know is completed bs, well in terms of the fans. The articles talking about how it's a great movie probably haven't read Naruto all that much.

Does someone know other mangas in the vein of Akame ga kill! or Tokyo Ghoul? I've devoured the NS fanfics favourited in my FFN profile and both mangas and i really need more...

 

Any suggestions for good NS fics? I feel like there are a bunch I've missed.

I think Rowling is too high. The ending of HP was dissatisfying, but at least it was dissatisfying in a logical way. She didn't pull the rug out from under the readers the way Kishi did.

I always thought that Neji's death meant something different. 

I always thought that he died protecting Naruto cause he knew he was the one who would change the world, and bring peace...he trusted Naruto because he proved him that he was strong enough, and "promised" him that he would change the "destiny" of Hyuuga's clan. 

Then Kishi said that he just died so NH has a "good" reason to happen    Ruining his manga THAT much is impossible...but with Kishi, impossible is nothing
