Hey, Hey!! No need to get worked up over nothing alright? so what if it wasn't Kishimoto's drawing? their relationship wasn't drawn in the manga yet. THE CANON, remember? If we get too excited over this we're just slapping ourselves in the face for laughing at NH fans that make a NaruHina bible out of the filler episodes. Movies and novels aren't really considered canon either unless the creator says so. Just chill and let it go. *Passes around Apple Pie*

Kishi had a chance to draw Naruto next to Hinata. He didn't.
Shes by herself.
He even drew Naruto next to Ino very closely so it's not like he's shy of girls.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Kishi drew Naruto closer to Kiba because they're really close [no pun intended, talking about in terms of friendship]. Other than his bonds with Sasuke and Iruka, Naruto was close with Kiba, Shikamaru and Chouji during their academy years.

I know. But he still had every chance to make a NH "move" with that, and he didn't. If anything it would of gave some indication that Naruto even remotely liked Hinata, but he didn't Yet Kishi's drawn hundreds of artwork with Naruto and Sakura alone.

Nah, he and Kiba are the least close of that class. Unlike most of the others of the Konoha 11, Kiba still is quite unimpressed by Naruto and still is openly insulting to him. It's made clear they weren't really friends with Naruto in the Academy, the other boys just took advantage of the situation when Naruto goofed off to goof off themselves. We clearly see in Naruto's mental image of who he has bonds with when he fights Gaara. It's Iruka, then Sakura, Kakashi and Sasuke. None of the other age peers are people who Naruto feels a bond to.

He's not close to Kiba, but I think they're a somewhat fond of eachother, since they share similar traits. Kinda like buddies.

Yeah i agree. i think they're like buddies too. i haven't really seen that much of interaction with them to be considered remotely close.
