This was a good Chapter and i can't wait to see next chapters with the Kages in official Kishi Arts No Jutsu color to celebrate the 10th Anniversary.

Cool, a quick release... this chapter was filled with plenty of giggles & (even though I hate to admit) coolness on Danzou. BTW looks like the theory about the Kages mistaking Naruto for Danzo might be true.

Nice set up chapter. Though I swear the Mizukage is hard of hearing, kinda think she'll hear something wrong and make a fuss of it at the meeting.

So Danzou is mainly going to have the other Kages confirm him as Hokage. Be a kick in the pants if they really do think Naruto is Kage.

And the Land of Iron must have some dang good Samurai if none of the elemental countries have never tried to take it over at any point. I wanna see them in action with them 4 swords each was carrying!

I think she's kinda more like Azuma from Yakitate!! She tends to misunderstand what people are saying, her hearing is fine but like Azuma she tends to misunderstand what people are saying so, Kishi is basically making humor scenes based on Yakitate. But, y'know if her hearing is having problems, Smiter & I'd be glad to give her our hearing aids...... FOR A PRICE

She tends to misunderstand what people are saying, her hearing is fine but like Azuma she tends to misunderstand what people are saying so, Kishi is basically making humor scenes based on Yakitate. But, y'know if her hearing is having problems, Smiter & I'd be glad to give her our hearing aids...... FOR A PRICE

Good point btw Never made the connection considering I never read/seen Yakitate. But I get the idea of what your saying, almost like Ed from FMA considering if some one says small or little near him he goes all ballistic with the "who's a super, micro, subatomic shrimp!"

That was such a funny response. It could go like this. Mizukage: "Hello Hokage-sama nice to meet you Naruto." Naruto:"....?"
"Did I say something wrong?" "Im not really the Hokage. yet" "Your not marrying the Mizukage yet? I should kill you, I don't even know you." Naruto:"No,NOnonNONONONONo." lol.

I hope Naruto really does arrive before Danzou.

The land of Iron's samurai must be like storm troopers or something. They looked like them to me. Im going to call tthem Sword Troopers. lol They must be very strong indeed.

Sai may die...

This is either a moment cementing him into team 7 forever, a team 7 where Sasuke doesn't really fit in.....OR this is the prelude to his death. Hopefully not the death part, but this is how it seems. If he was to die, I don't know what the purpose would be for it.

Only thing I could think of is if he died from Sasuke's hands. It would definatly change Naruto's views, other then that Naruto has already matured through the death of several friends.

I imagine these Samurai are pretty darn strong. I mean as far as sword users go, we have only seen the bandit like type during the Wave arc. I am curious to see what they can do.

... Damn you Kishimoto, how could you not show us the glorious Orioke no jutsu battle.

Ah, more Mizukage goodness. Man this week is good. Boa showed up again in One Piece and now the hottest Kage.

Is Danzou manipulating his other hand so he can perform jutsu? And I have to say, that scene by far the most brutal in this entire series. The assassin had a freakin sword stuck in his skull and was getting flung around by Danzou. >_<

So the Land of Iron is like Switzerland. For a neutral territory, they sure look pretty sketchy and those samurai protectors don't really scream, "neutral" to me. I love the theory of everyone mistaking Naruto for the Hokage because his eye is still bandanged. It would be great if that could happen if only to tick Danzo off, but then again, after seeing his skills . . . maybe not such a good idea.

I wonder if the Mizukage had been forced into an engagement once that either fell through or she ran away from? She seems to be awfully nice to that one kid.

The Naruto and Konohamaru send off was so cute. Leave it to those two to face off against each other in something as silly as the sexy no jutsu. All in all, nice transition chapter.

After reading Binktopia's version yes, I see where you're coming from...... But it looks like it's more like Ed from FMA rather than Azuma.

My thoughts on the chapter exactly.

The introduction of samurai seems kind of promising, I hope that Kishi actually does something with them.

I would love to see everyone mistaking Naruto for the Hokage - the expression on Danzo's face if Naruto converted the kages to his side by the time he showed up would be pricelss. I think that Naruto could handle Danzo, especially with Kakashi and Yamato with backup.

Karui's worry over Naruto was interesting as well. It seems as though Naruto got to her after all.

And the scene between Naruto and Konohamaru really was very sweet. I love seeing Naruto in big brother/mentor mode! Still, if only Iruka or Sakura could see sexy no jutsu now maybe they wouldn't be so quick to condemn it.

I doubt it. If anyone kills Sai it'll be Danzou (either directly or indirectly). The obvious question does Kishi has the stomach to actually KILL Sai? If history is any indication, and it has been, the answer is a resounding hell no.

But if he does, it won't, and really can't, be Sasuke. Sasuke may attack, threaten, maim, and so on, one of Naruto's precious people, but he will never successfully kill them because it makes Sasuke's redemption much, much harder (if not impossible) and permanetly alters his relationship toward everyone else. It would truly be the land of no-return for him.

It's hard enough to believe that Naruto and Sakura still cannot see him for who he is, but they'd have no choice if Kishimoto wanted to retain even a shred of credibility, unless the whole point would be to show how deluded they were.

On the other hand, if Danzou does...we have a new reason for everyone to hate and want to dispose of a characater who is clearly a villain.

The first would, I think, be far more interesting and has the potential to make a better story, but the latter is what would happen.

So, Danzou DOES have both arms. Crap, there goes my "He can't be Madara" reasoning. I doubt he his, but every freakin' chapter it gets harder to believe he's not.

Oh, and it didn't look like a katon jutsu, it seemed more like some kind of kenjutsu/fuuton fusion technique.

I seriously doubt that any of the newly introduced Kage would mistake Naruto for Danzou. Seeing as Naruto is 1/100th Danzou's age. Gaara might, but that would be because he's Naruto's friend, and wants what's best for him.

I get the feeling the oiroke no jutsu is no longer printable...

It would be really great if Naruto was mistaken for hokage and it does seem to be set up, having the same bandage, Danzo being waylaid, Naruto arriving already with the same number of (ex/anbu) escorts... I can just see it. 'Hokage-sama, you're the last one to arrive,' -ushers inside- "Wha -huh? I'm n-!"

I really hope Sai doesn't die, especially with all the development he's getting recently... I want Sakura to have some too.

Another thing I enjoyed about this chapter, how it comes across that Yamato, Kakashi and Naruto are all equals on their little team, it no longer feels so much like teacher>student.

And uh... Danzo didn't seem to have much trouble using two hands to perform jutsu... who was it that said he didn't have that arm anyway It was interesting to see how his actions contrast with Naruto's new philosophy, brutally killing all of them without a word - and then we hear it was Konoha who attacked Wood, so it was all about revenge...

@kungfutruffle, Danzo does state he is not very well known, so if someone just said 'this guy with a bandage over his right eye is hokage,' well it could happen

That all depends on the description that was given to the Land of "we're neutral but don't really look it" Iron. If they were told the new Hokage is a guy with a large bandage over his right eye, then it's plausible. If the description is OLD guy with large bandage over his right eye, then you have a point. Of course, with Naruto's charisma, the other Kage's might prefer Naruto over Danzo regardless of whether or not they confuse Naruto for Hokage.
