And the pissing and kittening and moaning and mudslinging and complaining and bashing begins....can't we have ONE thread about a Chapter without someone going "This is the worst thing eva!" and some bs like that? If you detest the Manga that much then why the hell are you still reading?

I agree whole heartedly.

everyone seems to be pissing and moaning because Naruto doesnt kill Nagato. but noone seems to understand that if he did we might as well rename the manga Sasuke.

Naruto is the main character and a hero. A hero doesnt give into vengance, he doesnt give into hatred. if he did Naruto would have taken Hakus head off, if he did the village would be a pile of ash right thanks to the vengeful Kyuubi brat. if he did Naruto would have taken sasukes head off and dragged his corpse back to sakura and said here promsie fullfilled.

that is not what naruto is about. both the story and the Character. it is about overcoming hatred, about protecting your precious people. Sasuke is the failure for falling to revenge, Naruto is the hero because he overcomes the hatred and saves people from their own darkness.

While I grant that the restoring to life of everyone seems a bit off (im still of the oppinion hinata should ahve lost her life) its not a total loss when you consider it in the context of Nagatos last act. An act of contrition where he restores all the lies he took using the last fo his power, and thus paying the price for such power.

Wait till the chapter is out before you start complaining. Kishimoto doesn't need to satisfy everybody's wants. Hell, when he doesn't, people hate him. When he does, people hate him still.

Agreed. When people don't get what they want, they complain. When they do, even if its slightly rushed, they complain at the poor quality. He is ony human and can't satisfy everyone. Be happy Nagato died on good terms and the arc is finally over. I'm happy and dispite the rush, i think kishimoto did a good job. The arc needed to end, so it's better then makeing it uber long.

I'm looking forward to seeing Naruto resolve this problem with Hinata, fill in the blanks for his friends, and start to rebuild. Also, we still need to see the Rock arrive in Konoha. So i think it's better Kishimoto got Nagato's angst overwith and ended it with good terms.

I don't think most people are miffed because Naruto didn't kill Nagato, thats fine, it fits him.


Its just Pain came through and just reversed everything. Why not just skip him fighting all these guys, and just get his mind changed by Naruto already. Then again, I guess kishi needed something as a reason for Nagato to die.

...Because then there would be less of a parallel with Sasuke's choice? Less precious people (apparently) dying = less need for revenge and less reason for people saying things like 'talking won't solve anything now!' - Naruto needed to find his own way and show it was the better way... or something... I dunno maybe I'm clutching at straws a little

I don't have a problem with Pein reviving everyone, i'm still unconvinced about how quickly Negato was turned over, it just doesn't make any sense after the three or four weeks of flashbacks we got and the whole build-up, he changes his mind over a book, all those years of hatred and anger just poof gone because of a book being based on him, I understand the sentimate, his sensei thought he was capable of achieving peace within the all ninja villages, but this is the same guy who killed said sensei.

If we got a bit better explanaition, i'd be fine with it, The whole Konoha being revived part is not all that surprising when you consider Yahito missed point blank range when he aimed at Hinata's heart, (This is the second time her hearts been almost crushed, maybe Kishi is trying to tell us something? Hinata's going to have her heart broken, this is all a metaphor.) After that incident, this is not all that shocking.

Thank you. I don't hate the manga, its just that I'm pretty disappointed in the latest turn of events. I understand that Naruto is a manga mainly targeted at children, but reviving everyone seems to degrade a lot of the significance of the last 20 chapters or so. I understand perfectly that its not real life, but I personally feel it would have made for a better story if those who had died had stayed dead. If you disagree, then I'll respect your opinion. Even if I'm dissatisfied with this move, I still liked this past arc overall.

I do see where everyone is coming from about the overwhelming negativity though. At one point, it just gets to be too much of the same complaints repeated over and over again.

anyway, there is a lot of complaining about Nagato's sudden change of heart, which is quite understandable. but how many Star Wars fans do we have in here? does it remind you of the sudden change of Darth Vader from the dark side at the end of Return of the Jedi? just like Vader, Nagato kinda saw the horror of what he had done and made that change, saving and putting faith in the hero (Naruto, Luke) and in naruto's case, everybody else which is more climatic than him just keeling over.

But it would have been of greater impact if people actually died, though im happy about kakashi. hmm hard to figure out how i'd do the story

sh*tty ending is sh*tty.

Honestly how can people keep eating this stuff up as being good? I only care to know how the series ends now, but that doesn't mean it has to be one big kittenfest of bad writing. What next? Naruto jumps up on Hinata and starts humping her like mad?
