I feel you taiora was  my first opt as a child it really did  hurt me and my elementary class at the time when it didn't happen and to make matters worst. It hurts even more now knowing that the fact that the japanese show director was hardass hipster and was harsh on cliches and made tai and davis into idiots when its comes to there lovelife but made the loner pretty boy rivals smarter and mature than the mcs so mc can lose there chance in getting any girls in the end. Also favoring the rival type more and there stupid sob stories is also another dumb cliche.

Even without the dub stuff added, people still thought Tai/Sora would happen over Yamato/Sora. I wish Tri had retconned the second series.... 

 

Also, I was super disappointed that Kairi/Takeru didn't happen.

Do you think digimon would need to retcon the whole series and start from begining to fix everything or is that asking for damage control? I think digimon should have had a  more competent director and not a stubborn imcompetent hardass hipster then none of this mess would have existed. And we would have had a good pairing happen even if it is a cliche. 

 

tk and kari are implied so that isn't ship sinking. but taiora or daikari thats ruined for good. and sorato is still lacking and bland.... so to me its a lose lose.

 

 

Anyway going back to the games theres a new digimon game thats similar to the adventure series its called digimon survive its coming out on the ps4 and nintendo switch.

You beat me in the news. Well it seems this is new announcement. I have to say I do not like so much the type of  game, but I will give it a shot let see what happen.

The new animation project will be supervised by Seki Hiromi, and the character design will be in charge of Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (the original character designer from Adventure to Frontier, and who has returned to Digimon with Digimon Realize).

Yeah that is part of the appeal of this new game to me at least
