Interesting tipbit of information this week, sounds like Whitebeard and the woman who claims to be the mother of his child, we both part of the same crew, 40 years ago, so it's possible, White Beard, Big Mama and Kaido were all members of the same crew, when you think of the possibility you have to wonder how strong Garp truly is, if he was responsible for breaking up that crew.

 

Poor Robin she definitely did not want to be in her current situation, Zoro once again proving himself to be just as reckless as his captain this week, and I'm actually left to wonder if Zoro is the rightful heir to the Shusui, I didn't know Ryusha died 23 years ago, so it's possible that Zoro was born after he died, he is 21-22 (depending on how the time is moving in the manga.)

Bloody hell Oda, talk about jumping all over the place, last three chapters, we have the situation at the summit, them Zoro and now Luffy is on his own, with the animal kingdom again, and his crew is nowhere to be found, not sure what to focus on.

 

I like Nami's new look, very simple but cute.

Yeah admittedly I'm not really too fond of the skipping, since we have three frontiers right now it's definitely gonna bounce back and forth which is sort of annoying because, *boom* cliff hanger then skip to the next group

According to the interviews released the reverie that we saw was the whole arc. Probably.
I think well just see the aftermath of it after or during Wano, what country the shadow chooses to destroy. This chapter is the start of a very long arc. I dont mknd tthe jumping and I think its over now. Except between different characters in Wano there might be jumping, but not from arc to arc.

I think Wano arc would in universe a status quo breaker. Two emperor Will most likely gone and how Luffy Will fight wg later.

Anyway, i think oda now focus to Japan isolationism and the meiji restoration.

Good to see that Luffy just coincidentally happened to run into the one person on the island that he had to meet, not the person he went to meet or for the reason they even went to the island. Like always Oda manages to get you hooked into the arc early on.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kaidou represents current China, polluting the waters, and airs with their multiple factories, it may even represent Japan during their early boom period, there is no doubt cities and the water works were getting poisoned.

He wouldn't be Luffy if he did it any other way, this chapter does raise the question if he'll ask her to join the crew to fulfill the promise his brother made her, of if she's too young to join the crew, and with her being the same age as Momonsuke, and him being the rightful Daiymo of the land, we'll see her end up as his friend/bodyguard/confident helping him to grown up a capable leader.

It probably both based on the current problems with China along with the Bakumatsu period. Oda did work on Ronin Kenshin as an assistant it shouldn't be a surprise that the Japanese themed island is set in this time; especially how they been describing Wano since we first heard of it. 

 

America actually had very little to do with that turbulent period other then forcing Japan to open its ports due to the Civil War breaking out soon after. It was the European countries that exploited Japan to the point the Shougunate was finally weaken enough that a civil war, the Boshin war, finally ended it and restored the Emperor to power. Judging by the the situation the Straw Hats might be the Ishi Shishi, while Kaido force will be the Shinsengumi

So when di Wayne Empire collapse? To think Batman would become a henchman for evil men, oh how the mighty have fallen. plus he's put on some weight, I blame Justice League. I have to say I'm liking the pace of the chapters, one of the reasons I stopped reading for a while was because the arcs were so long and long winded.

 

So what are the chances that Orichi has a devil fruit ability that turns him into a nine headed snake (or dragon)?
