After the disgrace of movie 4, I hope 5 will be better... and people... Sasuke is returning!!! omfg.gif

Movie 5 will be release in theatres in August (like every Naruto movie) 2008.

Wait, you guys already saw the subs for Movie 4? Why was I not aware of this? Where is it! I thought it wasn't supposed to be here (in the U.S.) till like mid next year. Can somebody tell me where it is?

Uh... Movie 4 comes out in April. They just announce the next one in aware of its existance XD

As said by Kishi: "A shinobi must look what's underneath the underneath" And ALL of us assume that there will be NaruSaku in the movie TOTALLY fell in that trap.

Don't get your hopes up everyone, remember we were all hyped up for Movie 4 and where did that lead us? Severe dissapointment.

I'm not that surprised. The animators seem to dislike NaruSaku and love NaruHina. Damn all those fillers th_cussing.gif

I just hope they don't screw up episode 43.....................>_>

Sauke makes a appearance like 4 movies later, more than likely be Sasuke as the star character. Who knows perhaps give a us a flashback of his time with Oroichmaru while Naruto & Sakura are still chasing him but are doom another fail attempt.

How about... they are going to make it look like it's focused on Sasuke, then screw us over and make it about...uhh... Tonton? tongue.gif

The third movie was a real turn off, and from what I read, the fourth one isn't any better. I doubt the filler team is going to make up for their errors.

the movie is coming out in August. By then the manga should be more than 80% done (since Kishimoto said he wants to finish around 500). I'm guessing around ch. 430 or something will be the same time the movie comes out. We will see a lot more development, so it's not going to focus on the storyline. Naruto and Sasuke might already have confronted one another.

It looks like a cool movie, but I'm not really looking forward to it. Just another filler for the series. I rather watch the real anime. biggrin.gif

Everyone had to ruin movie 4 for me!!

Now that I know the whole graveyard incident with Sakura screaming didn't happen, I'll just give my two cents on why it turned out that way:
The trailer that said "Naruto Dies!!" was giving us what that seer saw. Not what actually happens.

I'd imagine this movie is going to be similar to the 3rd InuYasha movie: The two rivals start fighting each other, but eventually team up to fight a greater evil. So long as the animation is kickass, it will be worth seeing.

Also, about the animators favoring one pairing over the other: No, I don't think that's the case. First off, Hinata has not appeared in any of the movies so far (she MIGHT in this one, but as of yet there is no indication). Sakura has been with Naruto in every movie, even the 1st. After watching the first dozen episodes of Shippuden, the only thing I think went wrong was the beginning of Naruto's return. I liked it in the manga when Naruto ran into her, and we got a shot of her looking stunned (and the angle and size of the panel hints that he feels the same way). However, I think the date scene was an improvement (in the original, she looked peeved. In the anime, she looked like she was looking forward to it so long as he payed.) When Naruto told everyone he had the fox, Sakura had a flashback to when she was a child looking at Naruto, and seemed a bit more shocked. In my mind, another improvement. Also, if Hinata keeps fainting around Naruto, NaruHina will never happen. And that's what I hear happens in the fillers. When a movie looks more into a different pairing or tries to avoid romance altogether, I think it has more to do with getting more people, particularly those who are sensitive about pairings, to watch it. I doubt that the animation team would alter the main pairing from the manga, unless the reception of that pairing was THAT bad.

NaruHina was just to buy time, make money, and explore an idea. It doesn't mean it will lead to anything.

I want to know if the whole Sasuke working with Naruto actually happens in the movie,
or if it's just propaganda.

I really suggest you dont get your hopes up just yet. These movies have a habit with screwing everyone over.
