This is a continuation of the previous topic "Rate what music people listen to", which was closed for no particular reason and no warning along with many older games in the Fun Cafe. huh.gif I don't know what happened there laugh.gif Oh well.

Here are the steps to participate (which have changed very slightly from the original game topic):

1. Name a band you enjoy

2. Post a link of your favorite song by them (or just a song you really enjoy).

3. Someone else listen to that song and rate it, then they post theirs and etc.

For example:

[I rate the person above me's song]

[Band name]

[Link to song]

I will continue directly from where the last topic left off; the last post on the previous thread was by Black_Rose, who posted the song Plug In Baby by Muse. I will now rate said song and post another band and song for the next person to listen to and rate happy.gif

I rate the song 8/10; I enjoyed it tongue.gif Although I'm not the biggest fan of Muse.

The song I'm going to post is my current favorite song: the band is Alter Bridge. The song is Blackbird.

Yoko Ono is my favorite singer, hard to pick a favorite song- but currently the one I'm listening to the most is the song she wrote for the Japanese feminist movement of the 1970's (it became something of an anthem for that decade's Japanese feminists too- like Helen Reddy's "I Am Woman" did in the US in the same time period) It was released as a 45 (single song format back in then) and was so long that the second half is on the B side. The first 3 minutes is the main song, the flipside is a kind 5 minute jam session where she really cuts loose and I like even like better than part 1. In her later American remixes of the song she cuts most of the jam session part out- most likely because of all the ugly things American and British pop music critics said about her vocal experimentation back in the 1960's and 70's.

Dream you dream alone is only a dream, but dream we dream together is reality- Yoko Ono 1971

When you go to war, both sides lose totally- Yoko Ono

Remember, our hearts are one. Even when we are at war with each other, our hearts are always beating in unison- Yoko Ono 2009

You're supposed to rate the song above yours FYI.

She is supposed to rate the song above hers.
And you're supposed to rate hers and post you're own, hun ;P

@ciardha--4/10. Not my taste at all; no clue if the lyrics would change much, but... *shrug*
