Anyone who frequents raffmanga / mangalator??

 

its been down for like 5 days already and up to now nobody seems to know the REAL reason why the site isn't working.

 

First 2-3 days both raff and mangalator can still be searched on google engine but now it doesn't!

 

Is it due to copyright issue?? server problem?? personal problem???

 

Any ideas?

 

Raff's facebook page is loaded with comments right now, but its from one of his old post dated back in June.

 

Its just that most unpopular mangas are never scantled and only mangalator provides fast and easy translations. If only its easy to buy manga and be able to understand it then this wont be much of a problem.

 

So far mangalator was the best place to read great but underrated manga so i hope this is just a passing problem and that it will get resolved soon.

I think that site was sued for copyright infringement. Remember the anti anime/manga piracy last year? So sad that those sites have been shut down for days. Finding raw manga is hard.

I really hope they will bring the site back. It's the only place where I can read new Oresama Teacher chapters!!! _{and a bunch of other underrated yet awesome manga}

Thats one possibility. But i am more inclined to believe that its more about an internal problem like a server technical problem or the admin's personal reasons.

If the site is down due to copyright then how come we didnt even get a warning, a message or an announcement? I have my fair share of sites that were put down due to copyright reasons but they always give out notice to the public.

The company who puts it down would've brag about it because that is their purpose. To make it known to the public that they were able to put down an offender.

I wish the admin will give us an update..a short notice will do. Just so we know what to expect.

Until now i think everone is still in the dark.

If only its easy to buy AND understand manga.. because even if i have the means of buying some.. i wouldnt be able to read it. This is so sad.

If its the real admin i don't think they'll be cruel enough to worry all those people waiting for the site to come back.

Just a heads up for everyone.

 

After mangalator closes, Otakumole.ch was put up and it was working for like 2 weeks

just want to share this to everyone here who uses raffmanga..

 

this is so SAD.

 

 

Its a bit similar to how i felt when Naruto "ended" in such a horrible way.

 

I'm gonna miss the early scans and translations.. this was the only site where i could read underrated mangas which has no chance of being translated. I'm not sure why it has to end this way.. but i understand the admin for not being able to give out the details right now.

If I'm terribly sad and at a loss.. what more to the owner and to those translators who put great effort in all those translations..

there were some major changes in how you read translations but who dares complain now??

 

 

hopefully this is for good... some parts are still under construction but let's give the admin/s a break
